Do NOT use their service department!! They are absolutely unprofessional and rude! The person who checked me in was acted inconvenienced that i was at my appointment on time. It took over an hour and a half unprofessional and rude! The person who checked me in was acted inconvenienced that i was at my appointment on time. It took over an hour and a half for an oil change and tire rotation. When asked if they accepted other Hyundai competitors promotions or active duty discounts i was met with “once in a blue moon we offer discounts” from the lady who checked me out. When i explained it was ridiculous the way that customers are treated she said nothing. More

They said to come down and we'll get the tire/rim on. We leave work early to take the car down. We are there abt 90 mins and someone comes and says 'We're sorry it seems we rec'd the wrong part but the box was labeled properly. We got a spare rim not full size. It looks like some one ordered a rim and ret'd a spare.' BIG mistake telling me that because now you're telling me this piece went through THREE sets of hands and NO ONE caught this mistake?! It was a return so return dept NEVER checked it, it was SHIPPED and NO ONE checked the part and then REC'D and NO ONE checked it?! Their response, Sorry, We'll order another and it will be here Tuesday. UNACCEPTABLE and NOT ok!! Another past Service Dept nightmare story for MB Hyundai.. I had a short somewhere in my car that was a SAFETY hazard. I would turn my turn signal on and it shut off my headlights and dash lights. This is a huge safety concern/hazard especially at night. I called the Service dept and told them what was happening. I also told them I was leaving in two days to drive up to PA for vacation. They said sorry, we are booked solid. We can fit you in next week.. WHAT?! Did you not just understand what I told you?! I called my old dealership up in PA, Bowser Hyundai. Now mind you, I hadn't been there in 8-9 years because I had moved to SC. However, I was still in their records from my Grand Am. I told them what was going on and they said to bring the car In right away and we can take care of it for you. I THEN told them i wouldn't be in Pittsburgh for another 2 days, I was driving in for vaca. Their 1st response was, isn't there a Hyundai down there that can get you in. Well, we know how that went.. I told them no, they said ok, as soon as you get in town, come down so we can get the car looked at, you shouldn't be driving it with a short like that. Now THAT is how a service dept SHOULD react! You will NOT get service like that here!! I only shared 2 experiences about MB Hyundai service dept. I have more if you want them.. There was a guy in the waiting room today who had the nerve to say to me 'it isn't the dealership, it's the service dept' WRONG buddy!!! The dealership hires service dept management, the dealership signs service dept payroll checks!! They are one and the same! The dealership doesn't fix or address it, it is on them. Stay away from MB Hyundai More

I was in the market for a new Hyundai and the experience I had with Myrtle Beach Hyundai drove me to Lee Hyundai in Florence where I did purchase a ne I was in the market for a new Hyundai and the experience I had with Myrtle Beach Hyundai drove me to Lee Hyundai in Florence where I did purchase a new Elantra and had a pleasant, honest and up-front experience and saved over $4,000. I would not recommend Myrtle Beach Hyundai to anyone. The commercial says, "No games, no gimmicks...just great deals".....really? Better have someone re-write the commercial. More

I have been a customer of Myrtle Beach Hyundai for over 4 years and have bought 2 cars there. The service department is excellent and Eddie and Jeff are really nice people who care a lot about their customers.They have treated my family better then any dealer that I have bought from. Twice I had a problem while on the road and drove in without appointments and they took care of my wife and I. You did not even mention the service manager manager , which really makes me believe this complaint is suspicious. That would have been my next step if I had a problem. More
