I bought a 2005 Acura RSX-S from this dealership in August of 2005. The friendliness of the sales rep and people working there convinced me to buy. Whenever I take my car in for service its always August of 2005. The friendliness of the sales rep and people working there convinced me to buy. Whenever I take my car in for service its always done right and promptly. I'm given a Acura TL or MDX as a loaner which is a nice extra. I've talked to other people who have bought rsx's and they have been able to buy at invoice. I negotiated with the sales rep for a while on the car and wasnt able to get him to drop below retail. He gave me a discount since I was buying an 05 at the end of 05, but that was it. They also are really heavy on buying features like paint and carpet protection. These are very overpriced and not necessary at all, despite what they say. The dent protection plan is nice however, as it's saved me on 5 or so dents already and payed for itself. More
Purchased new over the weekend. Had a very unpleasant experience at Leta Acura, the salesman Jay B. was disinterested, confrontational, and appeared angry from the initial grumbled greeting. I (later experience at Leta Acura, the salesman Jay B. was disinterested, confrontational, and appeared angry from the initial grumbled greeting. I (later) stated I'd emailed him a few times with no response, to which he replied "I don't do email". Also, I witnessed another Leta salesman belittle a customer. Very unpleasant and discouraging experience, I almost cancelled the next Acura appointment and went to Lexus. Fortunately I did keep the next appointment at Mungenast St. Louis Acura which was an entirely different experience. Salesman Bryan was not only pleasant, polite and interested, but actually very helpful. I had a price I intended to pay, which was quickly agreed to and everything was done. Mungenast was a pleasant experience with friendly service-oriented people, while Leta was a horrible, off-putting experience which will prevent me from visiting them again and from servicing any of my Acuras in their department. I bought an Acura TL in 2001 from these guys - great experience - make you feel like a king - they strive to exceed all expectations of customer service.

They also own a body shop (Wayne's Auto experience - make you feel like a king - they strive to exceed all expectations of customer service.

They also own a body shop (Wayne's Auto Body) and I had to have repair work done to my Acura after a tree fell on it. Jeff and his team at Waynes did incredible work - I think car is better than new!!
More
I am a first time car buyer and I didn't really know exactly how to go about it. I emailed the two dealerships closest to me (Dave Mungenast St. Louis Acura and Frank Leta Acura) and told them that I a exactly how to go about it. I emailed the two dealerships closest to me (Dave Mungenast St. Louis Acura and Frank Leta Acura) and told them that I am offering $22,500 for an '04 RSX Type S (which is $700 over invoice so they are still making money) and whoever wants to give me that price will have my business. Well the very next day, Brad Galibert emailed me back and said that $22,300 would work. Brad actually lowered my price! I went in there and they didn't have anything on the lot that had no options (which is how I wanted it) so I am either getting one from K.C., MO in 2 weeks or over from Japan in 3-4 weeks. I've heard horror stories about people ordering cars from the dealership so I'm eager to see how this one turns out.

But as far as the initial deal, I highly recomend Dave Mungenast St. Louis Acura for all your Acura needs. And talk to Brad Galibert. He's a great guy.

As for Frank Leta Acura, well they didn't even email me back. I guess they just didn't want my business.

Visit Dave Mungenast St. Louis Acura at http://www.stlouisacura.com More
