Purchased a new 4Runner in May. We had a great experience with Dylan. Professional. Fair price and no extra hassle. Listened to what we wanted and kept up informed on inventory. I spent several weeks negotiating a lease on a 2026 Toyota Sequoia Limited with Mountain States Toyota. The salesperson and finance manager (James Longsdorf) did solid work getting me competitive numbers through Bellco Credit Union, beating Toyota Financial on both rate and residual. The deal itself was fair. Where it fell apart was the signing process. I requested to complete paperwork digitally — which is fully legal under Colorado's UETA and the federal E-SIGN Act, and which I have done previously on a vehicle purchase in Colorado. The dealership refused, insisting I come in person for what they estimated would be 45 minutes. When I asked what specifically required an in-person signature, they couldn't name a single document. When I declined their optional extended warranty products — on a new leased vehicle already fully covered by Toyota's factory warranty — they told me they were "required by Toyota" to go through the pitch. Toyota confirmed no such requirement exists. When I continued to decline the in-person requirement, the finance manager refunded my deposits and wished me luck elsewhere, walking away from a fully approved, signed deal over a DocuSign request. The finance office at Mountain States Toyota is structured to pressure customers into optional products. When that pressure didn't work remotely, they chose to lose the deal entirely rather than close it cleanly. Shop here if you want, but go in knowing exactly what the back office is designed to do — and that declining it may cost you the deal. More
Fair prices. Mostly reliable. Mostly honest. They sold me a truck with a topper, and they needed to re wrap the topper to cover the original owner’s logo. They Mostly reliable. Mostly honest. They sold me a truck with a topper, and they needed to re wrap the topper to cover the original owner’s logo. They did it as part of the deal, but did not mention they would not address the top of the vehicle. They said it was “baked on, and difficult to remove” so they just left it. My truck looks good! (Mostly) and they did re wrap the topper (mostly) and they were honest! (After the fact) pretty neat, huh? More
Very pleasant & professional sales and management teams; very knowledgeable about the vehicles.
