Aweful service scam artist. They treated me like garbage Motorcars was recommended to me by a friend who does lots of business worth them. He told me a man named Mondo would be calling. He never did so i called the dealership and made an appointment. Mondo was incredibly rude and (as had been said in almost every review) promised to call me that evening. He didn't. I called them back after 1pm. Twice i was sent to a voicemail that just hangs up. Finally someone answered and said he wasn't around but he would call me in about an hour. I waited closer to 3 hours and called back. I continued to get the runaround and promises of call backs which never happened. In the3 days i worked worth them they didn't call me ONCE. I complained to Crystal on the phone. She was polite but clearly had no interest in hearing what was upsetting me. My next call a few hours later Mondo finally got on the phone and said 7 words before hanging up on me. There's nothing we can do for you. Click. Which is interesting because Crystal had told me that at least 2lenders had approved me. They treated me like trash. I hate that my family did so much business with him while he was starting out. John got a few dollars in his pocket and forgot about the community. As i was sitting in the office th eentire staff was trash talking customers the entire time. I go get my car from a DIFFERENT dealership tomorrow. These people don't deserve any business from this community. More

WOW!! By far the nicest USED CAR dealership Ive ever been too.All the cars are really nice and the staff was really cool.My wife and I weren't in the market By far the nicest USED CAR dealership Ive ever been too.All the cars are really nice and the staff was really cool.My wife and I weren't in the market for a vehicle until an unfortunate accident totaled our last vehicle. She wanted to try something new and had always liked the looks of land rovers. so we decided to drive through the lot on a Sunday. As we were looking at the vehicles a gentleman came walking up to us and asked if we had any questions. Surprised that someone was working at the dealership, we talked and he gave us all the info we needed on the land rovers . Come to find out he was on the Maintenance crew and went out of his way to politely approach us and offer assistance. Awesome! We were sold on this Dealership from that point. Started dealing with simone that next Tuesday and felt Zero pressure to buy. she was very personable and knowledgeable and a pleasure to work with. Simone got us through the paperwork within minutes and we were out the door. Great staff and neat dealership! Will definitely recommend them to anyone! Thanks again. READ LESS More

Great experience I felt welcome the second I walked in the door. Smiles everywhere right when we walked in. He answered all my questions and if he didn't know the answer, he made sure he I got the answer. Even after the sell, he was still willing to return phone calls to me. I was really impressed with the service from him and all the staff. They all seemed to have fun and enjoy where they work. Thank you John and Thank you Motorcars of Lansing !! TERRIBLE! *MUST READ* I hope you spend the time to read this review. It will save you trouble and time. There are plenty of other bad reviews for these guys that i should have listened too. If I could I'd give this place a 0 rating. I would never send my worst enemy to this place of business. It's one of the shadiest businesses I've ever dealt with. Unfortunately I gave them far too long to make things right and I've heard nothing from them. Told the sales lady multiple times that I wanted to hear from the owner. Now let's backtrack to the actual problem here. First i get in touch with them and tell them im interested in the vehicle ask if its still available and she says yes. I tell her i want to put a deposit on it and i get no response. Message back the next day to try and put a deposit on the vehicle and get told that another sales person has a deposit on it. At this point im livid since i asked a day or two ago to put the deposit on it. I tell her to let me know if it doesn't sell. Couple days go by I contact them again and she tells me that it didn't sell. at this point I get my deposit on the vehicle so It doesn't sell. 500 dollars.  I drive 5 hours to Michigan from Pennsylvania to buy the vehicle from them. I get there and this thing is an absolute mess. Parts were broken on the interior and just sitting on the back seat. Fresh dings in the door. The cover for the sunroof was not just removed it was torn out. Dings and chips all over the paint. The interior smelled like wet dog and cigarettes. It wasn't cleaned there was dog hair all over the interior. The coolant was full of a mud like substance and needed flushed. It had some sort of leak and they told me it was from changing the oil. At that point I told them that I was frustrated with it all. felt like they were trying to sell me junk and I was ready to leave. Livid once again. Drove 5 hours wasted a days pay at work to come in. Ended up being a 300 dollar trip not including food. Huge waste of time and money and I'm not even to the best part yet. They told me they would have it all fixed and ship it to me and pick up my trade. Ok fine I can deal with that. So I drive home the next day.  Get home 3 or 4 days go by with no updates on the car. Finally get a reply and it's sold... with my deposit on it. I tell her how displeased I am and she's like well I can send you a gas card. Ok that still doesn't fix the issue here you guys have my deposit and sold my vehicle. Took two and a half weeks to get my deposit back. Never got the gas money. was told after the fact that my deposit was only good for 3 days. I gave then the deposit 3 days before I could drive there. They didn't say one word about it only being good for 3 days. I know I'm missing something here but that should be enough to get my point across. More
