Abysmal customer service at this dealership, Cadillac should be embarrassed to have it’s brand on the building. From the top down, there was virtually no semblance of actual customer service. I was an ou should be embarrassed to have it’s brand on the building. From the top down, there was virtually no semblance of actual customer service. I was an out of state buyer and dealt directly with the used car sales manager. Prior to arriving, I provided copies of all necessary paperwork and information, and repeatedly advised we had a long drive home and didn’t want to spend much time at the dealership. When we arrived, we were treated like we just walked in off the street. Nothing at all had been done to prepare for us or for the sale. Which meant we spent an inordinate amount of time at the dealer (nothing happens fast here, and there is zero sense of urgency from anyone). Further, the dealer forces its customers to use a third party car registration service, called ATC, to pay sales tax and register the car. Despite what the dealer will tell you, this isn’t required by law (at least not for most out of state buyers). And ATC not only over-collects sales tax (something not even the GM of the dealership cares about, despite being shown direct evidence that they were collecting $600 too much), ATC preemptively charges late fees for registration, indicating they know they’re not going to register the car in a timely manner. When I raised these issues with the finance manager (Jon), I was met with contempt and a raised voice, a great way to treat a customer. I had questioned the sales tax and registration fee issue with both Jon and the used car sales manager prior to my arrival, but my questions were ignored and never answered. Overall, I found virtually everyone at the dealership to be some combination of incompetent, unresponsive and totally uncaring. Would never do business with them again. Also, note that they require all customers to sign binding arbitration agreements. That said, the car itself was nice and was as-advertised. And the salesman who (sort of) helped us, Jim, was at least nice and polite. More
