I wish I could say that it was a pleasant experience but not really and I am still dealing with the car 2.5 months later. I purchased a used 2019 Audi A6. Drove the car and shook hands with the sales person not really and I am still dealing with the car 2.5 months later. I purchased a used 2019 Audi A6. Drove the car and shook hands with the sales person and I said I will buy it. I went home to get some paperwork and he emailed me what I asked for...a good faith total cost of the sale. The car was advertised for $26,900. The good faith cost of sale had the car listed at ~$29,000+! I immediately called and asked xxx is this? "Oh, that is the ceramic coating we put on all our cars and that is the price...and it is already applied to the car." I'm shocked that a dealer with this level of credibility would try to pull something like this. I said forget it. Of course, the sales manager was the next call I received and treated me like we were old friends. "So, what's the problem?" After I explained that 'to the penny' they were charging the maximum document fee allowed in Illinois(though no legal basis for it...dealers just do it) and that the advertised price of the vehicle is extremely misleading if not flat out deception. He said, the car doesn't have the ceramic coating and we can continue the sale should I car to. I did and the price was corrected. Picking up the car, I asked the sales person didI have it or not and he confirmed I did. Also, the Carfax said it was completely checked out, all drive chain components, belts, etc....ready for sale. Here is is, less than 500 miles since I purchased the car and I am faced with a $1,400 bill for a leaking water pump and new belts. This place is no different than any other car dealer and you need to look beyond the glitz and upscale facilities. Buyer beware. More
