VERY POOR SERVICE / NO COMMUNICATION AT THE SERVICE LEVEL I PURCHASED A LOW MILEAGE LESS THAN TWO YEAR OLD COACH. WHEN IT CAME TIME FOR SERVICE I CALLED AND MADE AN APPOINTMENT, 6 TO 8 WEEKS OUT BUT THAT'S OK. AFTER 3 WEEKS I CALLED TO CHECK ON IT AND WAS TRANSFERRED TO THE SERVICE DEPARTMENT OR NON-SERVICE DEPARTMENT. I LEFT SEVERAL MESSAGES AND DID NOT GET A RETURN CALL SO AFTER SEVERAL ATTEMPTS I DROVE 3 HOURS TO SPEAK TO THEM IN PERSON AND FOUND OUT THAT MY PAPERWORK AND COACH WAS LOST SOMEWHERE ON AN OLD SERVER. SO AGAIN THINGS HAPPEN BUT WAS PROMISED THE SERVICE WOULD BEGIN THE NEXT DAY AND WOULD BE QUICK AS IN IT'S BEEN 4 WEEKS SINCE THE TRIP AND STILL NO COACH. AGAIN I CALLED AND HAD TO GET RUDE JUST TO GET MY POINT ACROSS AND ASK THAT MY COACH BE FINISHED. NOW TWO MORE WEEKS AND NO COACH. STAY AWAY FROM THESE FOLKS! THEY ONLY WANT THE SALE AFTER THAT "SEE YA WOULDN'T WANT TO BE YA". More

***STAY AWAY... You have been warned*** Do NOT buy from Motor Home Specialist (MHSRV), RUN!! We bought one-way flights to purchase a new coach from MHS RV only to find out at pick-up two weeks later that the coach was not as advertised online. The coach had many items that were still missing and not completely installed, but were itemized on the window sticker, fraudulently misrepresenting the coach and inflating the MSRP. MHS RV acknowledged the missing items, promising to have ALL installed PRIOR to arrival. When we questioned about the partial install, missing equipment, and repair items, the salesman was argumentative and disrespectful, even refusing to remove the charge for another item still missing telling us “it is what it is” and to “take it or leave it.” Ultimately, we were left finding a way back home with our young daughter, who was in tears over the situation. Don’t fall for their scam, because once you are there, they try to pressure you into quickly signing paperwork, making you feel stuck and that your only way home is in the coach. Also, do not buy into their filtered 5-star reviews and lies on their website. They publicize as a family company, stating they “…will always treat you and your family with the utmost respect and appreciation…” yet offered no compassion, leaving our family stranded to find a way back home. The truth is in the numerous 1-star REAL reviews and the “F” Better Business Bureau rating, just look outside of their website for reality of the nightmares others have experienced at MHS RV! More
MHSRV - Horrible Experience F- **BUYER BEWARE** MHSRV is a great place to SHOP, but not to BUY. They are a "VOLUME" dealer, not a "QUALITY" dealer. So, that means they don't care **BUYER BEWARE** MHSRV is a great place to SHOP, but not to BUY. They are a "VOLUME" dealer, not a "QUALITY" dealer. So, that means they don't care about the condition of the coaches they sell, since they just sell on a mass quantity basis. Their website says they are the #1 "VOLUME" dealer in the world. They have an excellent selection of coaches to shop that come along with a cheap price. **HOWEVER**, if you take the chance of buying at MHSRV with that "cheap price" you will sacrifice everything else. Cheap price is all you will get. If you enjoy being lied to then buy here. Just expect NO service, NO call backs, Incompetent Service Work, uneducated and disrespectful staff after the sale is final. The NEW coaches are not checked and not completed to roll off the dealership. So, make sure you go over the coach with a fine tooth comb, because once you roll off the dealership don't expect anything to get fixed or get any response after you call. I made the mistake of buying my first NEW $100k + motor coach here and had several issues since purchase. Had it in the Service Department 4-5 times, with horribly incompetent sloppy work after months, and vacation time lost in the process. The service department has a 2-3 month backlog if you can actually get someone on the phone to get your coach serviced. So, after you buy, expect to wait a couple months to get your NEW or USED coach fixed, or not fixed in my case. I had to call the coach manufacturer several times to call MHSRV for me so I would get a call back, ridiculous. I've been in the sales and customer service business for 24 years, and this company transaction has been the worst experience I've ever encountered. The only positive from this company was the finance department. They were professional and courteous. I have since sold my motor home to a competing dealer and will never recommend anyone to buy at MHSRV. Do yourself a favor, and DON'T BUY here. Go and buy elsewhere and save yourself money, frustration, cancelled vacations, time, etc. If you gamble and buy at MHSRV, I wish you a lot of luck, and don't recommend signing the arbitration agreement! If I could give them negative stars I would. I give them a F- rating. More

First time RV purchase for us. We had been toying with the idea for nearly 3 years, mostly looking at dealerships in Albuquerque, where we live. But as we began to research different floorplans online, we realized that some of the ones that seemed to suit us best were not generally around. But I stumbled across MHSRV and realized that they had nearly every floorplan of interest in their inventory. Well, flying SW Air to Dallas is not terribly expensive, so we made a weekend of it and flew out and stayed at a very inexpensive Holiday Inn Express in Alvarado. Spend ALL of the next day in our golf cart, going from one plan to another. Best thing was that everyone pretty much stayed out of our way. Salesfolks did check in occasionally, but mostly to offer water or to help us find an elusive floorplan. It was a HOT summer day, but it was great. We found a floorplan we liked, but didn't make a purchase decision for another couple of weeks. Called back and spoke with Collin and hashed out a purchase. Because of our distance and crazy schedule, we had to get creative. We found an inspector who went out one Saturday and spent the day in the rig. Then we came out a week later to check the specific rig out VERY thoroughly, as well as signing paperwork. Financing was already in place, so the closing took relatively little time. Then we arranged to come back two weeks later to drive the rig home. They said "can you come out earlier so we can do a full walk through AND you can spend the night in the MH to see if you have any questions." That was SO great, and we took them up on it. VERY helpful. We got to ask lots of questions and got to make sure everything we had noted was fixed. Most was fixed before we arrived and a couple of things needed attention. The only reason I hold back a full five stars: we had an electrical issue that they didn't fix. I think they thought they had fixed it, but once we got back on the road and put some mileage on her, we discovered it was NOT fixed. So we're having the work done in Albuquerque and it IS covered by warranty, but MHSRV got SO close to getting it perfect. The problem that wasn't fixed was the most major of all the issues, so it is a bit of a bummer that we're now jumping through all these extra hoops. But we still had a great experience. More
The worst purchase experience I ever had. They told me they Worst experience of my life. Last July I bought my new dream motorhome at their Alverado dealership. I was promised by my salesman, Marty, and the man Worst experience of my life. Last July I bought my new dream motorhome at their Alverado dealership. I was promised by my salesman, Marty, and the management, that they went over my new motorhome very carefully and made sure everything is in perfect condition. Yet when I drove out I discovered all they did was wash the outside and poorly broom sweep the inside. There was almost no gas in the gas tank, no washer fluid, no propane. That was the easy stuff. Later I found out the little fireplace does not work, neither does the heat pump, the water heater was never wired for electricity even though it has a button to push for electricity. The gas panel was burned up by the time I arrived at my home in Houston. Every time I open the slides more screws fell out. The window coverings are either not working or at least crooked. I went to Canada with so much wrong and when I called them in October and begged if I could come by and get the warranty work done on my way back to Houston. It would have been so convenient to stop by on my way back from my trip. But they did it again. I was told no opening until mid-January. If you do buy from them don’t be like me, don’t leave until you check each item and make sure it really works. I was very inexperienced and worst of all I believed what they told me. I rated them friendly because they were very friendly and sold me an RV that had so much wrong. Janet More
Dont stand behind their product, lied about condition. All four slide outs have water damage and also found extensive water damage above and around the entry door. the sales guy collin said that he had "put his hands on this coach and it was perfect except for a little water damage in the rear." Straight up lied. on top of all the water damage the 2 main slides on the rear of the coach wont close into the slide out box because of some unknown damage to the vertical studs around the box which I am still trying to find someone to repair without having to remove the fiberglass exterior for access. The electrical components for the main TV were rusted and did not work. so far I have put over 11k total into fixing this coach and the slides are still not going in and out properly which from what i can tell will be thousands to repair if I can find someone willing to do it. I took it to a local dealer who contacted the manager over there about it and motorhome specialist response was "sometimes that kind of stuff happens and you have to deal with it." This was all within a few weeks of having the coach delivered. Hands down the worst company and management i have dealt with in the industry. More

We purchased the RV from Australia , so there was a bit of concern what would be awaiting us when we arrived . No need for concern for overseas buyers to be had here . The sales representative Daric Fail made sure we were picked up from the airport , had lunch sorted for us on arrival and we were given a thorough run down on how everything worked . The RV was better than we had hoped and everything has worked perfectly from day one . It’s not often you become friends with someone selling you a vehicle , I’m gleam to say Daric is a good friend of mine now and I’m very glad we dealt with him and his company , very professional . Look forward to catching up with him on my next trip thru Dallas . More
