Bait and switch, Trying to sell on payment instead of on price repeatedly when I specified I wasn’t concerned with them finding me a payment as I had cash in hand. Sales rep Austin even tried to tell me I had to pay california sales tax when I am a resident in another state and would have had the new car registered there. This could have been purposeful or he’s just misinformed. Mind you, this was before asking price was even shown to me. Just poor sales tactics and dishonesty left and right. Would not recommend. Far Better deals at other SD county Toyota dealers don’t waste your time on this one. And such steep unfair markups during a pandemic? Do better, Mossy 💕 More

Classic bait and switch! Cliff quoted me a price of $29,861, on a 2020 Toyota Prius Prime Limited, not in stock, but could be located. The next day he said "the incentives have changed", and the price $29,861, on a 2020 Toyota Prius Prime Limited, not in stock, but could be located. The next day he said "the incentives have changed", and the price would now be $31,489. When I called him on it (since the incentives were to last 5 days yet), he said his manager gave him the quote on the Prius Limited, not the Prius Prime Limited. Two days later, he finally admitted that he had made the mistake. So, I agreed to the corrected price of $31,489 and included Grace (another internet sales assistant who had responded from Mossy). I heard nothing more from Cliff or Grace (other than that Grace would pass my request to her manager). I even requested to see a copy of the MSRP of the vehicle, but nobody responded to that, either. Then, TWO DAYS LATER, I get an email from Cliff asking me to make an appointment to come in for a test drive (of which vehicle, I don't know, because they still didn't seem to have the car I wanted available). No follow up to my agreement to purchase the car at all! I bought from a different dealer. More
