I have given this dealership an excellent rating all around because it was a great experience dealing with them. No pressure, friendly,and got the deal we wanted. This was our 3rd or 4th visit. I went in for a simple oil change, but was given excellent service. I appreciate the straightforward and honest answers in regards to what needs to be done on the car for oil change, but was given excellent service. No pressure, my kids were treated nice and we were out of there in an hour or so. My husband told me to ask for Mike Burnett. He'll take good care of you and answer all your questions. Horrible service!!!! The worst in my 20 years of buying cars. My husband and I didn't want them to run a credit application because we don't want the ding on our credit application (we are re-financing the cars. My husband and I didn't want them to run a credit application because we don't want the ding on our credit application (we are re-financing the house soon and are very aware of our credit rating and what affects it). We had two valid checks they could have processed immediately. When we refused to give over our social security numbers to run the credit application, they brought in the manager who proceeded to be biggest jerk. I wanted a Prius (I got one from Redlands 2 hours later) so I think they feel a special power because, as they told me several times, there are only 20 in California due to the natural disasters in Japan. The manager mocked us, busted out a "back scratcher" as part of some inside joke with his staff and said we couldn't be calmed with it, laughed and told us the Patriot Act required him to get my social security to BUY a car with other funds. He said it was the law. It was so ridiculous, I was shocked. I asked him to show me the law and he changed his story, then saying he thought it was law and he would look. He eventually gave me a piece of appear that had laws on it that were completely inapplicable to my situation. Like I told him, he may as well put the IRS code in front of me, it was irrelevant. He was highly agitated and the last thing he said to us, that anyone did, was "You know, you don't have to buy a car here." Indeed. I took my $30,000 elsewhere. Yes, I think that's a lot of money, even if they don't. 24 hours later I have my car, for almost $1,000 less, and am very happy. Either one of my two Toyotas could break down in front of Moss Brothers and I still would have them towed to another dealership. If you wonder why my review is so different from others, I believe its because the salespeople send these requests to customers they know are very happy with their service. I got my request from another dealership, the one that treated me as customer. However, I figured since I was here, I'd warn potential customers and save them the 2 hours of time and aggravation I suffered. More
