I purchased my Ford Escape from another dealership in our area but will not return to that dealership. A friend who purchased her Escape from Grand Ledge Ford, highly recommended GL Ford. I took my truck area but will not return to that dealership. A friend who purchased her Escape from Grand Ledge Ford, highly recommended GL Ford. I took my truck there after sliding on ice and hitting a curb with my front driver side tire/rim. GL Ford was able to get me in quickly, provided me with a loaner vehicle and kept me informed throughout the process. During this time, they recommended certain services (it has 148,000 miles on it) but knowing I was able to only do certain services immediately, they were so informative, I knew exactly what was immediate and what could wait until another pay day. On my second visit to complete services, I left my entire key ring with the service dept and did not realize it until hours later. When I returned to the dealership it was after hours and the entire dealership was closed, the Sales manager was still inside and when I told him my situation, he went through all the key rings in the service dept, located mine and I was able to get my house key. This was above and beyond for customer service. I appreciate their honesty, professionalism and courtesy! More

I brought my car in for a recall notice and they were very polite/and took care of my car not only for the recall but they also found a brake issue that needed fixing and explained why it had occurred. They also took us to the mall while it was being serviced and picked us up when it was ready. The driver was very friendly. They also gave me a free oil change and car wash without asking. I had a free oil change coming but just didnt remember. Everybody was very nice/accomodating and helpful and I would recommend them to anyone. I had in engine replacement. I brang it into service on Monday and had it back by Friday afternoon (two days early then promised, nice job). Before I made my decision to get use GL Ford my mechanic for second opinion and quote. They mechanic agreed with the diagnoises but could not bet the price. Would not expect it to be cheaper at a dealership, nice job again. This was a major purchase, everybody talked to me to help me make the right decision. More
Needed a an oil change for the F150. They were incredibly friendly, scheduled an appointment convenient for me and were very quick in servicing the truck. Chris and Julie were both fantastic. Chris was friendly and very personable. Julie had my finance papers typed up and ready to go in a matter of minutes. The Credit Union was closed after we decided to purchase the vehicle but Julie was very efficient and did a wonderful job working with them the following business day in order for my loan to be processed. Great Job Julie! Chris took me and my husband to the repair shop where my MKZ that I was purchasing was up and the wheels were taken off and showed us that all new brakes and pads were installed on the car. I was very happy about that knowing the brakes would last me a while, especially since I was purchasing a used vehicle. Here's the not so good part of our visit: 1) We got home and blue booked the vehicle and found out we had been overcharged by at least $2,500. 2) Then found out that even though they knew the ash tray was stuck, they did not repair it. OK, that is minor but still should have been fixed since they knew about it. 3) Took a long time detailing the MKZ even though it was clean when we test drove it. We had to wait 45 minutes while they "detailed" a car that was already clean and we missed a family dinner at my mothers that I told them I needed to be at but they still took their time. 4) Upon closer look at the windshield, found out it had a small crack in it and may need to be replaced if it spreads. I feel a bit taken advantage of and wish they had of told me about these things prior to the sale. It would not have made a difference regarding the small window crack and they ash tray but $2,500 is a lot to be overcharged! I should have blue booked the vehicle prior to coming out so part of this is my fault but I really wish they would have been more honest in their pricing. I was not going to say anything but since you asked via e-mail, I am letting you know my honest opinion. I put "No" that I would not recommend this dealership but really I would have chosen "maybe" if that had been an option. A person would have to do a lot of research before going out to this dealership and not trust them to give you a fair price. Other than that, the vehicle is running fine and I have no other major complaints. More
Dropped off my car, got shuttled back to my office, got a call when my car was done, got shuttled back to the dealer and my car was fixed at a reasonable price (and a free car wash!)
