He called over a sales person, Ron McInnis to work with us. The sales person was called to us, rather than us being sent somewhere to him. We had done an internet search of the dealership inventory and had a car in mind. Ron knew the car we were interested in before we sat down at his desk. The kicker was we had a car that had broken down on the side of the road a day before. The dealership gave us a generous trade for this car, even though it was still on the side of the road. There was never any sales pressure nor was a more expensive car suggested. We are planning on moving out of state in the near future but the service was so great that when the time comes for us to purchase that awesome mustang, we will make the trip back to Grand Ledge Ford for the purchase and drive it back. No pressure, went the extra mile with us to our personal mechanic and didn't argue when something was found. I have heard about Grand Ledge Ford/Lincoln for sometime now and I decide to make a visit to trade in my 2011 Ford Fusion for a 2013 or later Fusion. I used work with another dealer whose much closer to my now and I decide to make a visit to trade in my 2011 Ford Fusion for a 2013 or later Fusion. I used work with another dealer whose much closer to my area and they pretty much turned me down with their awkward attitude towards customer and limited selection. I was greeted by Steve once I walk into the door and spend sometime with him take a test drive and walked through couple of cars, during the process, I saw a Rob there which is a total surprise since Rob sold me my last car and I could not find him since. Knowing that I know Rob and due to other appointments ( I was a walk-in customer), Steve turned me to Rob for the rest of the day, which we went over more cars and options. This was a cold day with wind chill in the single digit and to be honest, I was not looking for getting the car that day either, but Rob's effort to help me to look for the right car really moved me, after walk around the park lots and test drive a few cars, I finally decide on a used 2013 Fusion. Then both Rob and Steve worked with me throughout the rest of the night to almost 9 p.m, I had a few days with the new car now and I absolutely like it, Rob and Steve is always there to response my questions through call and text. In general, my car buying/trading experience were excellent at Grand Ledge Ford and I would really recommend this dealer and those two sales if anyone is looking to buy a Ford in the great Lansing area.
