New Car Purchase Experience When the wife and I decided it was time for a new car I began doing some online research on some luxury crossover vehicles. I had recently seen the Lincoln MKX in an article in Consumer Guide so I thought I would check it out. The nearest dealer to our home turned out to be Grand Ledge Ford/Lincoln. After using some of the online tools on the GLF website I was contacted by Shannon Egan and she set me up with an appointment for the following Monday. Shannon was easily able to answer the initial questions I had regarding the MKX. Through luck of the draw we ended up with Jim Himebaugh as our Sales Consultant. We found Jim to be extremely helpful, professional and knowledgeable with regard to the Lincoln product line. During the test drive of the MKX Jim did a great job explaining all of the features and technology the vehicle offered. He pretty much sold us on the MKX during that test drive. Well, a couple of hours later the wife and I were driving home in our new Lincoln MKX. Jim did an excellent job listening to us as we explained what we were looking for in our new car and found exactly what we wanted without trying to upsell for the sake of additional profit.
