This was our first experience with Grand Ledge Ford. It was wonderful!!!!! We were not planning on purchasing a vehicle but both Kim and Fernando worked with on getting our payments were we wanted them. We was wonderful!!!!! Very accomodating and quick. Called for service while i was on that side of town and they were able to get me right in. Quick turn around times, even when they are busy. We went shopping for a new car or a newer used car. After looking through many vehicles and changing some "must have" options we located the car and completed the purchase. During this entire process Colleen did an awesome job communicating and returning calls. We even got to know Deb answering the phones. Fernando did a fast job of all the paper work and it was awesome to get through all the financing with a minimum of fuss, maybe 10 minutes and we were done! We thought is was funny that we drove past dealers on the way to GLF to pick up our new car that never bothered to called about our test drives with them. We told them we were going to buy a car. Colleen really listened to my wife and I and worked to find the car she wanted. After test driving the Flex with the Ecoboost engine, look out Mustang! That motor is fast and the paddle shift gives some of the fun of shifting back with an automatic. I doubt it will really beat a Mustang, but it sure will surprise some people. Any car that can chirp the tires when shifting into 2nd and 3rd is a blast to drive. Some people say the car is missing the curb appeal, okay, maybe, but once they get in and drive with all the car has to offer in the limited edition, you start to warm up to the "ugly ducking". It is incredibly roomy, nicely appointed, and a blast to drive. More
I took my Flex in for service today. While there, I went to the parts department to get a price on a part that I needed for my 2004 F-150. I thought the price of the part was too high and I mentioned it to to the parts department to get a price on a part that I needed for my 2004 F-150. I thought the price of the part was too high and I mentioned it to the Service Advisor as I was leaving....Mr. Wright took the initiative to ask the Parts Manager to come to the service area and speak with me about my concern. The Parts Manager was able to offer me a better price on the part. Most service advisors would have said "gee, sorry to hear that....see you next time". Mr. Wright turned a negative experience into a positive one. Good to see a dealer that has empowered employees to take action in the interest of good customer service! More
I was very impressed with the service that I got at Grand Ledge Ford. I did not get a chance to meet Larry and Tony, who performed the service on my car, but they did an excellent job repairing my loose ball Ledge Ford. When I brought my car in and told him what was wrong with it, he quoted a price and amount of time for the service. What I was especially impressed with was the fact that when I asked him if they could run a diagnostic check to see why my check engine light is on, he was honest and said that it would cost an extra ninety dollars, so I would be better off waiting. Furthermore, he had later called me on the phone to inform me of exactly what was wrong with my car, what needed to be done to fix it, and the approximate cost to have it done. Throughout our entire interaction he was kind and courteous. More
Mr. Wright, at Grand Ledge Ford, found me a new antenna for cheaper than the original estimate. Also, when discussing the price of purchasing new tires he explained all of the costs associated with buying for cheaper than the original estimate. This is the dealership we purchased the vehicle in '08. We are treated very well each time it has been in for service. Given an estimate prior to repairs and kept up to date on the progress of repairs. E We are treated very well each time it has been in for service. Given an estimate prior to repairs and kept up to date on the progress of repairs. Each employee offers coffee several times during the wait and is always friendly. They complete the repairs in a timely manner and always wash the vehicle before returning it. I do a lot of my own auto repairs because I don't like paying for labor and parts. When I don't have the time, or it is a major repair I will continue to return to Grand Ledge Ford because I feel like my business is really appreciated. More
