This is not the first time Phil has gone beyond the normal level of service I would expect. Several months ago during another oil change, I asked if he could do anything about a small area of paint that had been rubbed off by my bike's handle bars being carried on a bicycle rack. Even when I have taken a vehicle in for a particular problem and it was not completely resolved, I'm not worried because they will correct the issue without additional charge (as they did with an air-conditioning problem with my F150). All my vehicles (1999 Mercury Sable with 118,000 miles, 2001 Explorer with 123,000 miles, and a 1998 F150 with 168,000 miles) run excellent due to the routine maintenance that I have done at Grand Ledge Ford. Took my 2010 Flex SEL in to Grand Ledge Ford this morning for an oil change/tire rotation. Also told them I had an intermittent grunting noise in the front brakes. Shortly after I had settled in with a cup of coffee, the service writer came in and told me there was a TSB addressing the brake issue He said he had the parts in stock if I had the time to wait....I'm retired, so time is something I have plenty of. I was back on the road in a little more than an hour. This is the second time I have been to this dealer and they have exceeded my expectations both times. Keep up the good work Grand Ledge Ford!
