I have been a satisfied GLFord customer for 7 years. This visit was just for routine maintenance on my Taurus X (which I love). While doing the checkup, Jerry discovered a problem with my battery. Since I am a woman caregiver for my husband, this is the only car we have and being stranded on the road with him would be a big problem. They ran the test and discovered I needed to have my battery replaced. It was under warranty so cost me nothing. Since I had to get home to my husband, I was given door to door service in the Flex. Phil (of the delightful British accent) kept me informed of the problem and the progress of the work. By noon I had received a call that the car was ready and they would be by to pick me up in 10 minutes. Thanks for the good work and saving me from a dead battery. More

Grand Ledge Ford Service was very diligent and persistant in finding the problem with my car. The problem was hard to detect and I was afraid they would say there was nothing wrong with the car, but Chad we in finding the problem with my car. The problem was hard to detect and I was afraid they would say there was nothing wrong with the car, but Chad went on a test drive with me and I was happy that he could also tell there was something not right. I know that Carl worked very hard and spent a lot of time working with the engineers at Ford to find what was causing the problem. When they did find what was wrong they repaired it quickly and because it was difficult to pinpoint the problem and took longer than expected they gave my car back with a full tank of gas, an oil change and very clean inside. Phil was very good at keeping me updated on the progress of the repair. Awesome group of people who treated me with respect and understanding. More
They handled a warranty repair with speed and professional responce. They came in very early and got the job done in one day. The job was 8-10 hours of labor. All Lincoln could ask was why did you stop at the dealer. My check engine light was on. They replaced the cam fhazers and it was a good thiing I stopped since it could have caused more damage if I had contined to drive. More
I always enjoy taking my truck to GLF. I don't get the nasty sick feeling in my stomach that I am going to have to fight them on every little thing. Pull in, talk to Jim, done. When the truck was wrecked the repair wasn't all it should have been. When I brought it back later for service the body shop noticed the poor work. They were proactive, made an appointment to get it back in and corrected everything. I work in Grand Rapids and I will always make arrangements to work in Lansing when the truck needs service just so I can take it to GLF. I don't want to use any other dealership. The only bad thing I have is with the so called corrosion warranty. The truck is only two and a half years old and already has rust and the paint is flaking off on the inside of the passenger door. Since it is not through the metal Ford will not resolve the issue. More
I took my car here for the first time last week and was extremely pleased with the service I received. Not only did the technician address my original concern, they also completed a thorough check to make sure everything else was in order. This dealership is extremely customer-friendly and I will certainly return in the future. More

All of the people that I encountered at Grand Ledge Ford were knowledgeable and helpful. I was out looking for cars on one of the coldest days of the year and they cleaned off and warmed up not one, but tw were knowledgeable and helpful. I live much closer to another Ford dealership, and there is a good reason I drive all the way across town to work with Grand Ledge Ford. I took my 2002 Ford F-150 in for service. The rear axel area had a thumping noise coming from it at low RRM. The noise came and went. I dropped the vehicle off and Phillip was a service rep who I had the most contact with. Phillip was always friendly and provided the information as quickly as he could. The company provided me and my children a ride to and from home when the vehicle was ready. First time I picked up the vehicle they did some much needed work on it that involved the steering. However, as I left I could still hear the thumping noise. I took the vehicle right back, Michael the tech went for a ride and was able to hear the noise I was talking about. I then made contact with Chad the service manager. He listened to my concerns and stated he would make it right. The vehicle was done and is working great. Chad kept his promise and made it right, including doing some work for free and reduced price. They offered to show me the pieces that they replaced and how bad they were. The service was great, the price competive and an overall good experience. More
