Once again, Grand Ledge Ford has come through for me. Turns out I had broken my left rear stabilizer. The courtesy shuttle got me to work after a bit of a wait and I was able to get on with my life. I also love that they can now email the quote. My only small complaint: I wish the online appointment feature of their website was up and running. Seems like it's been down for a while now. It's an extremely convenient tool, so I look forward to when it's repaired. More

I'm preparing for a road trip so these workers have seen me numerous times over the last 3 weeks and they always do what I ask them. I will continue to go to them as long as I'm in the area, and when people ask about honest, friendly service I always tell them to go to Grand Ledge Ford. More
They were very fast at turning my car around for me. They gave me a loaner car to use, which was very helpful considering I had appointments that I needed to get to and was stressed out trying to figure out gave me a loaner car to use, which was very helpful considering I had appointments that I needed to get to and was stressed out trying to figure out how I was going to get there. While we were there dropping the car off I notice a courtesy vehicle sitting there, so my husband asked if we could get one and they checked and next thing I know I am leaving with a loaner car. They are very professional and courteous at Grand Ledge Ford. I will probably always buy my cars from them in the future. More
Phil Wright is very helpful and friendly. He has helped us in the past when we were having a problem with the seatbelts cutting into our shoulders. He got me into the shop on the same day I called. I would like to extend my sincere thanks and appreciation to Mr. Phil Wright at Grand Ledge Ford. On Friday, March 4, 2011 I drove our 2010 Ford Focus approximately 60 miles from our home to a job intervie to Mr. Phil Wright at Grand Ledge Ford. On Friday, March 4, 2011 I drove our 2010 Ford Focus approximately 60 miles from our home to a job interview in Lansing, MI. When I arrived to my destination, put the vehicle in Park and turned off the engine, I was unable to remove the key from the ignition. It was pouring rain outside, and I had just driven over several miles of slippery roads to get to the interview on time. Having only a couple of minutes remaining to get to my interview, I gently turned the steering wheel back and forth a couple of times to release the key; however I was still unable to pull out the key and, worse yet, when I attempted to turn the key to the start position, the engine would not even turn over to start. After the interview, I returned to the vehicle and read through the owner’s manual to determine whether I could troubleshoot and resolve the problem on my own. The vehicle has just over 40,000 miles so I felt that, although a bit frustrating; being stranded in parking lot on a cold, wet winter day, the problem couldn’t be anything too serious. After reading through all of the anti-theft information and instructions, I decided to call the service department at the dealership from where we purchased the vehicle. After being told by the service tech that he’s never heard of “that problem” and that I would simply have to call a tow truck to get the vehicle in for service, I called a friend of mine who was able to look up Grand Ledge Ford’s telephone number. Even though we did not purchase the vehicle from Grand Ledge Ford, Mr. Wright was more than willing to assist. In fact, after describing the problem to Mr. Wright and before I even had a chance to request a tow truck; Mr. Wright very quickly diagnosed the problem and walked me through the steps to get the key out of the ignition. And, once the key was removed, he stayed on the line to make sure that I was able to insert the key and start the engine, not once but twice just to make sure everything was OK. Talk about friendly, compassionate, and competent service. Mr. Wright you are awesome! Your calm demeanor and willingness to go the extra mile, taking the time to assist me was truly a Godsend. THANK YOU SO MUCH! By the way, for those of you reading this who may be concerned about experiencing the same problem as I had, don’t worry… All you have to do is make sure the vehicle is in Park and “firmly” rock the steering wheel back and forth until you hear the click. Once the steering wheel locks, you should be able to pull out the key, put it back in and START YOUR ENGINE! :o) My problem was that, even though my vehicle was in Park and the front wheels were straight, I was being too gentle; not tugging the steering wheel far enough to get it to the lock position. I have been a satisfied GLFord customer for 7 years. This visit was just for routine maintenance on my Taurus X (which I love). While doing the checkup, Jerry discovered a problem with my battery. Since I am visit was just for routine maintenance on my Taurus X (which I love). While doing the checkup, Jerry discovered a problem with my battery. Since I am a woman caregiver for my husband, this is the only car we have and being stranded on the road with him would be a big problem. They ran the test and discovered I needed to have my battery replaced. It was under warranty so cost me nothing. Since I had to get home to my husband, I was given door to door service in the Flex. Phil (of the delightful British accent) kept me informed of the problem and the progress of the work. By noon I had received a call that the car was ready and they would be by to pick me up in 10 minutes. Thanks for the good work and saving me from a dead battery. More

Grand Ledge Ford Service was very diligent and persistant in finding the problem with my car. The problem was hard to detect and I was afraid they would say there was nothing wrong with the car, but Chad we in finding the problem with my car. The problem was hard to detect and I was afraid they would say there was nothing wrong with the car, but Chad went on a test drive with me and I was happy that he could also tell there was something not right. I know that Carl worked very hard and spent a lot of time working with the engineers at Ford to find what was causing the problem. When they did find what was wrong they repaired it quickly and because it was difficult to pinpoint the problem and took longer than expected they gave my car back with a full tank of gas, an oil change and very clean inside. Phil was very good at keeping me updated on the progress of the repair. Awesome group of people who treated me with respect and understanding. More
They handled a warranty repair with speed and professional responce. They came in very early and got the job done in one day. The job was 8-10 hours of labor. This saved me a night in a hotel since I was traveling. I was on a business trip and over 250 miles from home and Lincolin would not pay for a room. All Lincoln could ask was why did you stop at the dealer. My check engine light was on. They replaced the cam fhazers and it was a good thiing I stopped since it could have caused more damage if I had contined to drive. More
I always enjoy taking my truck to GLF. I don't get the nasty sick feeling in my stomach that I am going to have to fight them on every little thing. Pull in, talk to Jim, done. When the truck was wrec nasty sick feeling in my stomach that I am going to have to fight them on every little thing. Pull in, talk to Jim, done. When the truck was wrecked the repair wasn't all it should have been. When I brought it back later for service the body shop noticed the poor work. They were proactive, made an appointment to get it back in and corrected everything. I work in Grand Rapids and I will always make arrangements to work in Lansing when the truck needs service just so I can take it to GLF. I don't want to use any other dealership. The only bad thing I have is with the so called corrosion warranty. The truck is only two and a half years old and already has rust and the paint is flaking off on the inside of the passenger door. Since it is not through the metal Ford will not resolve the issue. More
