I took my car in for a check engine light. I also had a brake light flash once so I ask them to check. I informed them that I was limited in funds and told how much I could afford. When they checked the ca brake light flash once so I ask them to check. I informed them that I was limited in funds and told how much I could afford. When they checked the car they found serious brake problems rear wheels. Bad brake cylinder blown. They showed me the problems they found and the condition of the parts before beginning work. They worked with me on cost and went beyond what I would expect from a car dealer doing repairs. I can not thank them enough for their concern and help in repairing my car. I would recommend Grand Ledge Ford to any one who needs service. More
We bought our Ford Edge at Grand Ledge Ford in 2007 through Laura Dickenson. It was a pleasant experience and when we are ready to buy again, we will return. We have returned to Grand Ledge Ford for through Laura Dickenson. It was a pleasant experience and when we are ready to buy again, we will return. We have returned to Grand Ledge Ford for oil change and tire rotation on the Edge since we bought it. This speaks volumes because, we live near Port Huron, MI and drive 90 miles to get service done. I have never gone anywhere else because of the experiences I have had at Grand Ledge Ford. More

After 30+ years with GM vehicles, we have truly converted to Ford & are a Ford family! Our daughter leased her car from Grand Ledge Ford in 2008 before heading out East for grad school. My husband leased his car 3 weeks after our daughter. We returned to take advantage of the lease pull-ahead & have a beautiful 2011 Fusion. While there, we found a 2008 Ford Focus for me with very low mileage which we couldn't pass up. So, 4 Fords over 3 years!! Our daughter will most likely buy her Focus. Thank you for the quality work and professionalism at Grand Ledge Ford. We appreciate a job well done! More
Once again, Grand Ledge Ford has come through for me. I wasn't able to make an appointment since my problem occurred late Saturday night, but I took it in Monday morning and the service team had me diagnos wasn't able to make an appointment since my problem occurred late Saturday night, but I took it in Monday morning and the service team had me diagnosed and fixed by the end of the day, despite my poor explanation of the issue ("It seems to be going clunk-clunk-clunk when I turn left...you know?"). Turns out I had broken my left rear stabilizer. The courtesy shuttle got me to work after a bit of a wait and I was able to get on with my life. I also love that they can now email the quote. My only small complaint: I wish the online appointment feature of their website was up and running. Seems like it's been down for a while now. It's an extremely convenient tool, so I look forward to when it's repaired. More

They were very fast at turning my car around for me. They gave me a loaner car to use, which was very helpful considering I had appointments that I needed to get to and was stressed out trying to figure out gave me a loaner car to use, which was very helpful considering I had appointments that I needed to get to and was stressed out trying to figure out how I was going to get there. While we were there dropping the car off I notice a courtesy vehicle sitting there, so my husband asked if we could get one and they checked and next thing I know I am leaving with a loaner car. They are very professional and courteous at Grand Ledge Ford. I will probably always buy my cars from them in the future. More
Phil Wright is very helpful and friendly. He has helped us in the past when we were having a problem with the seatbelts cutting into our shoulders. He got me into the shop on the same day I called. I would like to extend my sincere thanks and appreciation to Mr. Phil Wright at Grand Ledge Ford. On Friday, March 4, 2011 I drove our 2010 Ford Focus approximately 60 miles from our home to a job intervie to Mr. Phil Wright at Grand Ledge Ford. On Friday, March 4, 2011 I drove our 2010 Ford Focus approximately 60 miles from our home to a job interview in Lansing, MI. When I arrived to my destination, put the vehicle in Park and turned off the engine, I was unable to remove the key from the ignition. It was pouring rain outside, and I had just driven over several miles of slippery roads to get to the interview on time. Having only a couple of minutes remaining to get to my interview, I gently turned the steering wheel back and forth a couple of times to release the key; however I was still unable to pull out the key and, worse yet, when I attempted to turn the key to the start position, the engine would not even turn over to start. After the interview, I returned to the vehicle and read through the owner’s manual to determine whether I could troubleshoot and resolve the problem on my own. The vehicle has just over 40,000 miles so I felt that, although a bit frustrating; being stranded in parking lot on a cold, wet winter day, the problem couldn’t be anything too serious. After reading through all of the anti-theft information and instructions, I decided to call the service department at the dealership from where we purchased the vehicle. After being told by the service tech that he’s never heard of “that problem” and that I would simply have to call a tow truck to get the vehicle in for service, I called a friend of mine who was able to look up Grand Ledge Ford’s telephone number. Even though we did not purchase the vehicle from Grand Ledge Ford, Mr. Wright was more than willing to assist. In fact, after describing the problem to Mr. Wright and before I even had a chance to request a tow truck; Mr. Wright very quickly diagnosed the problem and walked me through the steps to get the key out of the ignition. And, once the key was removed, he stayed on the line to make sure that I was able to insert the key and start the engine, not once but twice just to make sure everything was OK. Talk about friendly, compassionate, and competent service. Mr. Wright you are awesome! Your calm demeanor and willingness to go the extra mile, taking the time to assist me was truly a Godsend. THANK YOU SO MUCH! By the way, for those of you reading this who may be concerned about experiencing the same problem as I had, don’t worry… All you have to do is make sure the vehicle is in Park and “firmly” rock the steering wheel back and forth until you hear the click. Once the steering wheel locks, you should be able to pull out the key, put it back in and START YOUR ENGINE! :o) My problem was that, even though my vehicle was in Park and the front wheels were straight, I was being too gentle; not tugging the steering wheel far enough to get it to the lock position.
