Even though we were purchasing not a Ford brand vehicle we still got really good service and the dealership tried their best to meet our time constraints. One area of improvement would be to have the sale we still got really good service and the dealership tried their best to meet our time constraints. One area of improvement would be to have the sales rep be a little more knowledgable about the vehicle we were looking at even though it wasn't a Ford. They knew we were coming and could have "studied" a little better. We would recommend going to this dealership to any of our friends/family. More
This was a first time visit to Grand Ledge Ford, and I have to say I was very impressed. I had been eyeing an Edge on their website, and finally decided to go take a look. I was directed to Karl Hofmeister, who set up a test drive. I let Karl know what my terms were, and he let me know up front that maybe this car wasn't in my price range. However, he took the time to find some comparable vehicles, and I tested those as well. He was very knowledgeable, answered all my questions, was very friendly and did not pressure me at all. My husband and I discussed the cars over the weekend, and we decided that the Edge might possibly work after all. I filled out the credit app online (which was very simple), and Karl contacted me the next day. I let him know that if the car was still available, we were interested. He immediately checked the lot, let me know it was there and pulled the keys. I arrived after work, and bought the car I wanted. Karl was able to meet my trade-in needs and kept the payment reasonable. I could not have asked for a better experience. I have recommended Grand Ledge Ford to several friends and co-workers already. He was able to answer any question I had and throughout the term of my last lease he made contact with me several times to see how everything was going relating to my Focus(at the time). I have spoken with him since my newest lease, once when he called to check up on how I liked my new Escape and once when I called to ask a question that he was able to answer and guide me through what i needed. Thanks to all and for sure I will be back both for service and for my next vehicle. More
My wife and I stopped by Grand Ledge Ford on July 4th,just to have a look at some vehicles.{She needed something newer than her 2001 Chevy Blazer}A Ford Escape caught our eye.Being closed for the hol 4th,just to have a look at some vehicles.{She needed something newer than her 2001 Chevy Blazer}A Ford Escape caught our eye.Being closed for the holiday gave me some time to do some research on my computer on the Escape.I was impressed with what I learned, and called GLF on the 5th to schedual a test drive at 4 pm.When we showed up,we were greeted by Ross Ford, and the Escape was all shined up, ready to go!My wife, brother, and myself took it for test drive. We all agreed it was a great vehicle. My wife and I sat down with Ross, and soon arrived at a price we could agree on.{$3,500 under invoice due to some promotions!}Ross then assited us in setting up our cell phones to the Sync system, and went over the whole vehicle with us.At 630pm we drove out new Ford owners! The whole process could not have been better! We are VERY happy with our purchase, and can only assume that our servicing will be as painless. I went to Grand Ledge Ford for a routine oil change and tire rotation at the end of June. I had been having my F150 serviced at another Ford dealership in the area and thought that I had been getting good tire rotation at the end of June. I had been having my F150 serviced at another Ford dealership in the area and thought that I had been getting good service from them. Philip Wright suggested that the air and gas filters, which should have been changed at 30,000 miles (there are 45,000 miles on my truck) should be replaced. He showed me the air filter, and I couldn't believe it was so clogged up. The other Ford dealer never mentioned changing filters so I assumed they were OK. Once the new oil was put into the truck it was discovered, when the Tech went to check the oil level, that the dipstick was stuck tight and could not be removed. This fact was not brought to my attention at the other dealership. After some discussion about the problem, Chad, the Service Manager, arranged to have the repair (new tube and dipstick) done as warranty work, no charge to me. About two weeks later, the air conditioner quit working. I called and made an appointment at Grand Ledge Ford. While it was in the dealership I had them check out a "clunking" noise that was coming from the rear end. The truck had been making this noise everytime I started out from a dead stop since the truck was new. I had the other dealership check out the noise on four different occasions. The first time a mechanic road with me. He heard the noise and I left the truck overnight. The next day I got a call that the truck was ready. I picked it up and found that the noise was still there. When I asked about it they said that they couldn't find anything wrong with it. The second time I left the truck overnight, the service rep told me that they couldn't find the cause but suggested that I change my way of driving. If I start out very s-l-o-w-l-y I won't hear the noise. The third time I left the truck they greased the leaf springs. The fourth time I left it, they couldn't duplicate the problem. Tony Montesanti from Grand Ledge Ford was able to hear the noise and diagnose the problem right away. I took the truck in at 7:30 this morning, Tony replace the drive shaft, and I drove it home before lunch without hearing the "clunk". Chad the Service Manager, Philip Wright, and Tony Montesanti at Grand Ledge Ford all have my sincerest thanks for the outstanding way that they each performed in resolving the problems with my truck. I would also thank Richard McCarrick, the courtesy car driver, who kept me entertained and got me home safely three times this month. I thank the Lord that I stopped in for that oil change at Grand Ledge Ford. Now I truly understand what good service is. More

When we came into Grand Ledge Ford it was to look at a car that we'd seen online. We were only there a few minutes when Ben came out and introduced himself. He was friendly and courteous without being h car that we'd seen online. We were only there a few minutes when Ben came out and introduced himself. He was friendly and courteous without being high pressured or pushy. After taking the car out we decided we weren't interested in it. Ben then pointed out another car and asked if we would like to look at it. We took it out and came back undecided. Again, there wasn't any pressure and Ben even agreed to let us take the car to show our son and get his opinion. After coming back and talking it over some more, we decided that if the price and financing could be agreed upon we would take it. Fernando was very helpful and friendly, arranged financing and payments we could afford and explained clearly and completely all the paperwork involved. He, Ben, and the entire staff went out of their way to make us comfortable and answered any and all of our questions. We have been looking for another car for awhile now, after having our Lumina for nearly 15 years. It has been, at times, a stressful undertaking, but Ben, Fernando, and the staff at Grand Ledge Ford made sure that the experience was stress free and even enjoyable. We recommend Grand Ledge Ford to anyone interested in buying a used/new car. More
