Car's issues were clearly explained , repaired quickly, and the car was returned detailed beautifully with no extra charge- that was a nice bonus! We went to Grand Ledge Ford to buy a Ford Escape. We were met in the parking lot by Mitch Wojtacha, who proceeded to listen to our goals, wants and desires in a new suv. He did an excellent job of educating us about the different Escapes, their features, mileage, etc. We explained our financial situation (two years out from a bankrupcy) and explained that we would be a challenge to finance. After choosing our vehicle and taking it for a test drive, we went in the start the financing process. It was a long, arduous process for both Mitch (our Salesman), Judy Williams (Finance/Business Manager), and at one point Mr. Barry Merrill got involved. Everybody pulled hard for us, and Judy worked extremely hard earning a very sucessful outcome! In the end, Judy found that we qualified for a 1.9% interest rate under a certain program. My wife and I were absolutely stunned. We also traded in two cars which threw another challenge in the deal. In the end, we could not have been happier. My wife and I will be driving down the road, turn and look at each other, and yell 1.9%. We would like to also say a thank you to salesman Karl Hofmeister who helped us get acclimated to our new Ford Escape. Everyone was so helpful and we appreciate the many random conversations we had with everyone. Thank you Grand Ledge Ford for helping rebuild our lives. More
Bought our vehicle from Grand Ledge Ford 2 years ago with an extended warranty. This month I had a problem with gas guage and engine light on. They were able to accomodate my schedule and quickly service th an extended warranty. This month I had a problem with gas guage and engine light on. Took my '08 Escape in for a routine oil change and asked them to look at what I thought was my squeaky brakes. Turns out that my alignment was off and my tires needed to be replaced. Phil was great at giv them to look at what I thought was my squeaky brakes. Turns out that my alignment was off and my tires needed to be replaced. Phil was great at giving me all of my options and I feel I got a great deal on some quiet new tires. I lost my husband a year ago and he did all of the work on our vehicles, so it means a lot to be able to trust someone else to do the work now. I SO appreciate the complimentary shuttle service these guys have. Thanks Grand Ledge Ford! More

I am not sure if this is a dealer issue or a Ford Motor issue. It seems like all the dealers should have a first priority of getting Fords sold even if that means for another dealer has to trade a car they think they can sell. Maybe Ford needs to offer an incentive for dealers to trade vehicles. We did end up with a car we liked but it was not as close to what we originally were after as we had hoped. Overall I am satisfied with the dealer as they treated us as well as any other dealer I have purchased cars from - the salesperson actually demonstrated more compassion for the situation than any I have worked with before. Also once we made the deal on the car we traded in they stood by the price even though it was a few weeks later that the trade occurred. More

Our van suffered water damage to engine from flood situation. Phil attempted simpler repairs but they were unsuccessful, so the van needed a new engine. Phil worked diligently to interact with our insurance, to keep us apprised of the goings on and to advocate on our behalf. He and Dave Schneider were very responsive to our needs. More
