We have bought multiple cars from this dealer and would recommend it, but the last couple of experiences have been subpar. Our vehicle was in the shop for almost a month to have some minor repairs complete recommend it, but the last couple of experiences have been subpar. Our vehicle was in the shop for almost a month to have some minor repairs completed with little updates given to us. We had to prompt for the updates on when the vehicle would be completed. We also asked for a quote to trade in the vehicle and haven’t heard back for 1.5 weeks. More

I brought my SUV to Morrie’s to have the AC looked at because it was not blowing cold air and that the vehicle was not running properly with a white smoke coming from the exhaust while idling. My vehicle because it was not blowing cold air and that the vehicle was not running properly with a white smoke coming from the exhaust while idling. My vehicle is covered under a warranty I purchased with the vehicle after purchasing it used. I made an appointment with the dealership and requested a loaner to have during the repair. After a month past they were finally able to get me in for a service appt. I dropped off the SUV and was surprised to have a brand new Ford Bronco for a loaner. We enjoy this vehicle very much through the 2 weeks they had my SUV. It was very comfortable and affordable as well. However, after a week of having my SUV in repair at the shop, they called me and gave me the diagnosis for the repair. I turns out a Schader valve was leaking and letting out all the refrigerant, and they also noticed my control arms were wore out supposedly and that the warranty would only cover the control arms, but the Schader valves were not covered under the warranty and it would be $350 to replace these to get the air conditioning working properly again. I declined this after doing some research on this part, and ordered a whole box of this replacement valves on Amazon for $15. I still don’t understand how they were trying to charge $350 for this service? After agreeing to have the control arms replaced along with an alignment and tire rotation. I asked about why during the diagnosis did they not see the white smoke while the SUV was idling and that if I want led it looked at again, it would be an additional cost for this? I was puzzled because I told them to look for this during the initial diagnosis and why would I want to pay twice for what they should have done the first time around. I declined her request and was told by the woman in the service dept I was working with that the repair would take an additional 4 days or so to do the control arms and the alignment and rotation and that she was going on vacation and I would have to have someone else help me through the rest of the repair. I was told exactly how much it would cost me to have this repair done as the warranty covered everything and I would only pay the deductible for this, the rental car fee, and $20 for the rotation. I told her that was fine. I received a call one day after speaking to her from someone else in service that the repairs were completed and that I could pick the SUV up right now. I was like how did the repair get done so fast when I was told the day before that it would take an additional 4 days or so to complete it? He said they were behind on other repairs and that they worked on our SUV all day to finish it early. I said ok, and proceeded to pick the SUV up. When I got to the dealership and was going to pay for the service bill, they had made a mistake and tried to charge me full price for the control arms and the labor to fix them of over $1500. This was not correct and I told them that this work was all covered under the warranty contract. He said that he had to have his supervisor look at it and to just keep the rental vehicle under it was sorted out? It was a Friday so I left again with the rental, and did not hear a thing until calling them back the next week Wednesday. I was like what is going on with this repair and did you get the paperwork fixed for the cost of the repair? He said they did and to come pick it up this afternoon. I went up to pick it up and now the price was even different than the first estimate than I was expecting. I payed for the repair, he brought my SUV around from the back. It was just filthy and had oil and grease spots on the doors and rims. They had the thing for almost three weeks and did not even wash it? Even though everyone was very nice on the phone and were respectful to deal with, there was so much confusion over this situation and what I originally brought the SUV in for was not even fixed? I like Morrie’s but I did not like how this repair was done. More
