Hyundai’s quality control inspection missed damage (cracked plastic near the rear seat release lever) on my brand new leased Tucson. The first time I put the back seats down was 41 days after taking possession of the vehicle, at which time I discovered this damage and immediately brought it to the dealer’s attention. I made a service appointment and brought it in for repair and was then told that the repair was not covered because it had taken me more than 30 days to discover damage that they should have caught in the first place. The best they would offer was to “put a note in my file” that upon trade-in I “would not be ‘dinged’ for this damage”. However, such a note, if it even exists, would only be helpful if I trade in the car to this specific dealer (instead of having someone else buy out the lease, etc) and if the dealer’s leadership three years from now sees it and chooses to honor it. Instead of just doing the right thing and repairing a problem that came with a car they sold to me, they instead chose to stick me with their damage that will very likely affect the vehicle’s resale value. They then repeatedly pestered me to write a review about my service experience. More

We're really seriously disappointed with our service experience at Morrie's 394 Hyundai after purchasing our Santa Fe there in December 2020. Their counter service personnel aren't quite rude, but it's experience at Morrie's 394 Hyundai after purchasing our Santa Fe there in December 2020. Their counter service personnel aren't quite rude, but it's a very borderline call, and frankly I would have expected more. Their administration system is sorely lacking, as I can't count their scheduling snafus on one hand, I'd need both. I could go into much more detail, but I've already lost quite a bit of time trying to deal with them, I'm done. We've already decided to not purchase another vehicle from them. Maybe other customers will have better luck. Just know, that's what our opinion is. Very lame. More
I don't think my needs were met. I was over my mileage by a few miles due to constantly having to reschedule my appointment to ensure I had funds to cover complete service. Now I am having to pay out of pocket for the repairs needed that would have been covered had the representative assisted. When I picked the vehicle up they representative who assisted was beyond amazing, and even expressed disappointment that during the check in I was not assisted to the best of the staffs ability. More
