Major warranty snafu I purchased a vehicle three years ago from moritz, and just took it in for a repair that should have been covered under the warranty they sold me wit I purchased a vehicle three years ago from moritz, and just took it in for a repair that should have been covered under the warranty they sold me with the vehicle. They declined to look at the paper copy of the warranty I took with me, said it was in the computer so they didn’t need it, but then charged me $700 even after I asked them to double check. After they had insisted it was not covered and forced me to pay, they then realized they had the wrong warranty info in their data base, and said it should be covered after all, but that it was now too late for them to do anything and I was on my own to seek reimbursement from a third party warranty company. I just talked to the warranty company, and got transferred three times, and then told to submit an email and wait 2-3 weeks to see if they will pay or not. I don’t think they did it on purpose, but in the end they made a mistake on a warranty they sold me, and failed to honor it, and are now leaving me on my own to try and fix the situation. More
