We regret to hear that you had a negative experience with us. After your vehicle was put on the lift and inspected more damage was found. That's why the estimate was more then the first initial estimate.. Due to the extensive damage on your vehicle and prior rust, the vehicle was not worth repairing due to the cost. Also we will not do any minimal type of repair to the rear suspension due to the liability factor. If the suspension failed due to the extensive rust at the suspension mounting points, we could be held liable for even attempting it. That's why we recommended replacing the vehicle. As a courtesy we did not charge you anything for storage, the estimate or an inspection fee. Take care.

To be clear, it was never about the money. Your service associate was unethical and inappropriate. There is no mistake about that. His conduct was uncomfortable, inappropriate, unethical, and unprofessional. How can I reasonably rely on an estimate provided in the context of his behavior? It’s too bad we can’t take a polygraph to settle this.
