I'm sorry to hear about your recent experience with our service department. After visiting with the service advisor and technician, I understand your vehicle was inspected -specifically the rear sun-shade operation, and was diagnosed with an internal mechanical component failure. After checking with our parts department for availability, it was found that the part is only available as a complete unit. Internal components are not serviceable or replaceable. The service advisor shared the estimate with you for replacing the rear sun-shade assembly, which included parts and labor. I understand that you have declined to have the repairs performed at this time. I apologize for any misunderstanding or miscommunication. Please contact me if I can be of further service to you.
