20,000 mile ToyotaCare Inspection We had a 10:20 AM appointment. We were there on time but both lanes to drive into the service area were backed up 5-6 cars deep in each lane waiting t We had a 10:20 AM appointment. We were there on time but both lanes to drive into the service area were backed up 5-6 cars deep in each lane waiting to be check in. Not once did anyone say they were behind or there was a problem. 45 minutes after checking our car in it sat in the same place in line. I asked attendant Jorge Batz who checked us in what was the reason and was told he knew they were behind and were working on it. 1 hour later our car had been moved once in line. My husband asked someone else working in the service area what the problem was and was told only 4 of the 10 people showed up for work that day. Don't know if this is the truth but we were furious along with a room full of other people who had been there for 2-3 hours waiting on their cars to be serviced. A little after 1:00 our car was "finally" serviced almost 3 hours from the time we arrived. There is no excuse for someone in management not to once come into the lounge and apologize to everyone or explain why the long wait. If we had been told when we checked the car in we would be stuck there for 3 hours we would of left and came another time but we did have an appointment which obviously does not mean anything to the Mollie Toyota Service department. We have bought our last two cars at Mollie in the last 4 years "but" they are not the only Toyota dealership in the area and we do not have any desire to deal with a service department that is ran like it was on our last visit. I told Jorge Batz to tell his management how unhappy we were and they needed to learn how to communicate with their customers. Needless to say we are disappointed in Mollie Toyota and angry! "And" after we left the dealership we found a piece of trim from the back of the glove box that covers the cabin air filter laying on the floor board of the front passenger seat. "Really" they could not even put the car back together after inspecting it! More

Usually satisfied, but not this time I usually find this service center to be efficient, thorough, and courteous. This time, they were courteous. I made an appointment to have the microph I usually find this service center to be efficient, thorough, and courteous. This time, they were courteous. I made an appointment to have the microphone for the bluetooth checked to find out why it had suddenly quit working. When I arrived, the employee who checked me in didn't seem to know that I had asked for that. He checked the phone connection using his phone to confirm that the connection worked, but the microphone did not. Neither he nor the other employee he waved over knew where the microphone was located. I told them what I found online as the likely location. Then he said he would have to ask that dept to work me in(why did I bother with making an appointment?) After 2 hours, they told me it couldn't be fixed because something inside the radio wasn't switching over to the microphone for a phone call. The only solution was a new radio for $940. I said I wouldn't be doing that, and then they took another 45 mintes to put things back together. I have a low level of confidence in the competence of the service center when it comes to the sound system. It seems a car that is less than 5 years old and has 47,000 miles on it should not have an unfixable problem of this nature. More
