My appointment was for 9 AM I told the service rep I would wait until car was done. At 2 PM I asked if my car was almost done as I had to go back to work. I was told they had not started on it yet and he did not know when they would be able to get started. I asked him to pull my car and left. I waited 5 hours for nothing. The only good thing about the service department is the free coffee. More

Not Happy with my service I took my Corolla in for a Recall for air bag.. I got there in the morning 8:30 to drop of my car. I was told between 4 to 5 hours. It was around 12: I took my Corolla in for a Recall for air bag.. I got there in the morning 8:30 to drop of my car. I was told between 4 to 5 hours. It was around 12:30 so i called they said that Jonathan was out to lunch. he would call me back with a responds. It was 1:00 we went to the dealer . Jonathan was not back yet. But someone else help me she told me she was going to the shop. She was talking to a man that person drove my car into the shop for the first time that day. i know this because i have a small stick on Calendar and when it was being drove into the shop i saw the pages of the calendar flap in the wind. And when i got into my car it was in the dash board not on the airbag side. I am a little bit up set because i had to find someone to pick up my son from school. I live in Turlock so i know i would not make it and i also canceled a doctor"s appointment. I felt I took my car early enough so i would have time in to pick up my son. More

Oil change and car was jerking back and forth!!! I took my 2009 camery to Modesto and it was the worst customer service ever!!!! They kept telling me that they didn't know what was wrong with it and this was the second time I went there and it was weird cause he said the same thing that the other guy said last time as like they have it written down some were to tell customers the same thing!!! they charged me $180.00 just for them to tell me the same thing as last time!! the ladies there were rude as are the guys there I would never recommend anyone to come here horrible customer service both times!! the ladies there were saying bad words it was bad!! made me late to work when my appointment was at 11;40am and picked it up at 5:00pm and it still wasn't ready!!! And they left me with my gas tank on EMPTY!! when I had gas in my tank almost half a tank like what were they doing driving around in my car UGH!! I will never come here again NEVER!! More

Extremely rude and unprofessional sales woman. My 21 year old daughter and her friend went to the Modesto Toyota Scion dealership looking to get information on the Scion FRS 2016 and test drive one My 21 year old daughter and her friend went to the Modesto Toyota Scion dealership looking to get information on the Scion FRS 2016 and test drive one if available. Upon their arrival "SACHIE female sales associate" approached them. My daughter went on to explain why she was there and was wondering if SACHIE the sales person could help her. Mid way through the part where my daughter mentioned "test drive to see if she liked it and got a feel for it," SACHIE the sales woman" rudely said, "I don't have time for this I need to make a car sale" threw her hands up then walked away leaving my daughter and her friend dumbfounded. As the girls made their way back to her car they came up on "SACHIE the sales woman" and the other group of sales associates and the girls could literally see that the "SACHIE the sales lady" was discussing the incident with them. Fortunately the floor sales manager was very professional and appologetic. Honestly at this time I don't know if we want to continue doing business at this dealership or go elsewhere. My advice for "SACHIE the sales woman" is for her to take some customer service skills along with learning common courtesy. The dealership would definitely benefit as well. We did not raise our children to be disrespectful to others, but I guess we live in a diverse ethnic world. More

They were not willing to budge on the price at all, though they likely had over $4000 in turnover profit on the vehicle. On top of that, they gave us a horrible trade-in value on our Toyota Rav4... $3000 under value. If we had signed the papers the first time around they would have gotten almost $8000 off of us. We ended up walking away knowing that they could care less about us because there were other customers right behind us looking at the same van. This dealership is about making money-- not about the customer. We ended up buying a brand new Sienna from Lodi Toyota for $5000 cheaper than Modesto AND got $2000 more on our trade-in. More

Appointments are useless! I called at 8am, asking about bringing my prius in for an oil change. I arrived to find a huge crowd, and people were being helped ahead of me, that pulled up after I did (of course I had informed the service writer that I had an appt, upon arrival)!? Well, here it is 2 hours later, and I'm still waiting for them to pull my car in for service! I am disgusted by Toyota in general, and this horrible experience here at Modesto Toyota hasn't helped!
