Good experience, but not excellent Let me start off by saying my sales rep Marcy Drysdale was excellent. She really went to bat for me and was did a great job with overwhelming process of purchasing a vehicle. My problem comes with the sales manager on duty. The car that was sold to me didn't have any floor mats , not one. Marcy told me she would see what she could do as far as getting some or taking something off the price. Sales manager's response was that he was comfortable with what price already was he refused to lower the price, despite no floor mats. Now I realize I didn't have to buy the car. But in the feedback request email, Modern Toyota expresses a "dedication to excellent customer service". There is nothing excellent about completely dismissing the absence of something everyone is accustom to having in a car, knowing that they are missing, and doing absolutely nothing about it. More

Sales person I bought a 2015 Highlander Limited with the technology package. When I first saw what was included in the technology package; I was a little intimidat I bought a 2015 Highlander Limited with the technology package. When I first saw what was included in the technology package; I was a little intimidated But when Nancy Smith the sales person started going over everything, i was more relaxed. She went through the entire car, patiently explaining the details of the various bells and whistles without ever having to refer to notes, books or web sites. That she had this knowledge on demand was very impressive but equally impressive was the fact the she had the ability to explain everything to me in a patient and understandable manner. In addition to her impressive professional knowledge; she is a personable, understanding, and caring person. On a scale from one to ten with one being the worst and ten the best, I am delighted to tell you I would rate today’s purchase experience at Modern Toyota a solid 12! Beginning yesterday a telephone conversation with Mike Hughes resulted with him finding me the exact truck I wanted at the price I needed including a generous allowance for my trade (more than I really expected). I had purchased four other vehicles from your dealership over the past fifteen years or so and without a doubt this fifth purchase experience was no less than outstanding as far as my wife and I are concerned. I was met and welcomed in the parking-lot this morning by Mr. Wes Wheeler like I was an old friend. We had never met in person prior to that. Wes displayed more than courtesy and brand knowledgeable professionalism, he made us feel like important, valuable customers. Wes went the extra mile not only explaining clearly and simply all the detailed paperwork, but also transferring plates and property from my old Tundra on and into the new Tacoma. He took the time to set up the new bluetooth connections for me and afforded me a completely enjoyable buying encounter. Wes also treated me to a coffee. That was nice. The great service didn’t end there. Brad Adams your F&I guy did a great job of closing the contract and title work in a most friendly and expedient fashion. I hadn’t financed a vehicle purchase in over 20 years. Cash was much simpler, but he even made finance seem pleasant! Mike Hughes made a point of coming over to meet us putting a face and hand to the telephone meeting of the previous day. That seemed once again to make me feel appreciated as a customer. All these seemingly small things were noticed and appreciated. All in all your team at Modern Toyota not only made me glad I chose your dealership, but in addition made the entire experience enjoyably memorable.
