I was dreading going to look for a car because of all the hassel with car dealers in the past. When we arrived at Modern, everyone there was super friendly. Andrew was our salesman and I can honestly say his hassel with car dealers in the past. When we arrived at Modern, everyone there was super friendly. Every question we asked was answered or he found out the information for us readily. My husband and I were also impressed with "everyone's" friendly/helpful attitude. Can't say enough. My experience with Modern Toyota was excellent.I asked for a dealership price match and got it. They have a great customer relations manager, Bryan Johnson that made sure I was being taken care of and as the car I was purchasing that day was a gift, I asked him if they had big bows for cars, he said no but they should and left next thing I know he returned with a BIG bow in hand, now that is customer service! I truly felt cared for and that goes a long way with me. I will be back and have had my RAV4 serviced there and the service department is excellent too ,quick, friendly and knowledgable staff. More
I went and looked at a new Toyota and must have gotten a bad salesman. It was late on a Saturday and he had already left the showroom in is own mind. I mean he was friendly enough, but he was on engaged in bad salesman. It was late on a Saturday and he had already left the showroom in is own mind. I mean he was friendly enough, but he was on engaged in really selling a car I cannot even remember his name that tells you anything. We ended up waiting until Monday and called a Toyota dealer in Greensboro. They had the same car just about and worked a deal that saved us $1000.00 over Modern. I have gone to Modern a few times to look at a car before buying elsewhere. I have not really had a great experience with them. More
I purchased a 2007 Camry at Modern Toyota and have regularly taken it back for oil changes and scheduled maintenance. The Service Department personnel are friendly, knowledgeable about my car and per regularly taken it back for oil changes and scheduled maintenance. I have a 6 month old 2010 Camry XLE. It's been a wonderful car & is a pleasure to drive. As luck would have it, someone backed into our Camry while we were out shopping. We called our insurance carr wonderful car & is a pleasure to drive. As luck would have it, someone backed into our Camry while we were out shopping. We called our insurance carrier & informed them we'd like to have repairs performed by the Dealer from which we bought the car a few months earlier. We dreaded going through the process but were pleasantly surprised by the prompt, courteous service we received. Wesley Mize & crew scheduled our repairs, kept us up to date, & performed great looking repairs with a smile & a handshake. Something that we had truly dreaded was transformed into a truly painless, convenient experience. More

The process was painless and we appreciated having the car delivered to Black Mountain, N.C., which was covenient for us. Once again, I had an excellent service experience at Modern Toyota. The staff was friendly and helpful upon arrival, Scott gave accurate estimates of the work to be done, and then kept me posted during Modern Toyota. The sales staff was friendly and worked hard to get me the price and payments within my budget. It's also wonderful to have someone treat you with respect at a dealership - no fast talk, no pressure, no o the price and payments within my budget. We were very impressed with being made an appointment and having service work completed on the same day. We live about 70 miles from dealer so this was really helpful in that we did not have to make more tha having service work completed on the same day. I have taken my car to have service done at Modern Toyota on several occasions and have found the experience to be very positive. I purchased my car through this dealership and all of my initial maintenance on several occasions and have found the experience to be very positive. I purchased my car through this dealership and all of my initial maintenance was included in the purchase (first several oil changes, 5,000 mile check-up, and 10,000 mile check-up). The drive-through service check-in process is extremely efficient and well organized. Every time I have taken my car for a service appointment, I have chosen to stay at Modern Toyota to wait for my car to be ready. The waiting room is comfortable and pleasant. It is well stocked with complimentary soda, coffee, and reading materials. The staff is welcoming and knowledgeable and service is completed quickly. I will not hesitate to take my Scion to them for future maintenance needs. More
