My battery in my Camry was dead as a door nail this morning. I called my dealership, Modern Toyota of Winston-Salem. They told me just to bring it in and they would check the battery. I pulled out of their parking lot about 90 minutes later with a new battery at no charge since my old battery that I purchased from them in November 2019 was a Toyota Lifetime Warranty batter…which was a very wise decision. I want to give a special shoutout to Cooper Gossett, the service tech that took care of my problem so efficiently…and…I got a free car wash to boot. They were so helpful and tried different avenues to accommodate my budget and price range. My salesman was Marshall Brown and the sales manager was Kevin. I had an appointment scheduled for Saturday July 19th at 1045 for a tire rotation, oil change, and alignment. I called the service representative at 1227 and was told the service had not even started and h 1045 for a tire rotation, oil change, and alignment. I called the service representative at 1227 and was told the service had not even started and he did not have a time frame because of “lunches”. This is not my first issue with this dealership regarding waiting times, lack of updates, etc. At the time of this writing (1308) my car has just now been taken back. Do not come to Modern Toyota of Winston-Salem unless you plan on spending at minimum 3 hours, during the weekday, or 4+ on the weekend, at the dealership! More
