An hour state inspection? Made an appointment for their "free" inspection since we purchased our car there. Got there 15 mins prior to appt at 11 am and was told it wouldn't be Made an appointment for their "free" inspection since we purchased our car there. Got there 15 mins prior to appt at 11 am and was told it wouldn't be ready before 12...We had an APPOINTMENT?! Inspection that takes an HOUR?! A couple before us was a "walk-in", got their inspection in 30mins and left. We weren't informed of any problem and car failed inspection. Why not inform customer of problem and cost to fix it so it can pass inspection??! Attendant said it didn't make any difference if we gave a bad review because they had plenty of business and work...he wouldn't have a job if I was the owner! We sat there for well over an hour only to find out it failed inspection...paperwork attendant gave us says customer declined work? We were not informed about the problem. My husband is diabetic and had a stroke in May 2018, I had a knee replacement and my dad is 84 yrs old, sitting there waiting, not knowing what was going on was absolutely STUPID!!...TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!! More
Rainy Saturday and preowned SUV I had no clue when I decided to ride by the dealership to see if the preowned SUVs I had been looking at online were still there, that my day would tu I had no clue when I decided to ride by the dealership to see if the preowned SUVs I had been looking at online were still there, that my day would turn out so well. I actually found both preowned Pathfinders and got out and looked at them. One was a 2018 SL and the other was a 2016 Platinum. I liked them both, but asked to drive the 2016. It was much nicer than I had anticipated. So I decided to go in and find out about my trade in. Duane Thompson was my sales associate at Modern. After having my car appraised I found out that I was upside down because of my mileage and I probably could not trade for a preowned SUV. But to my delight, I might could trade for a new vehicle that had a rebate. After looking at a few, Duane found me a new 2018 Pathfinder SL. It was the color I wanted and had all of the whistle and bells. I had not arrived at the dealership until after 3:30, but I found myself trading that night. Everyone helped to make it possible by staying late and I really appreciated that. Great employees and staff! So, stop by and tell Duane Thompson that Dan sent you, he’s a fantastic guy. Wesley Starnes is a top notch sales person and I would not go to anyone else. Once again I bought a new car_____from Wesley who provided me with a good trade in allowance( on a car That I bought from him) and I got my first SUV a 2018 Nissan Rogue SV. It has all the bells and whistles and then some. He had to remove the plastic seal from A NEW ROGUE and I took a ride. Comfortable, peppy great color and I have never seen so many new extra features. They also have a superb customer service department. I like it when they call you by name when you drive up. I will continue to go to Modern Nissan of Hickory. More

BEST EXPERIENCE EVER! I went to Modern Nissan not knowing if I could get a car. Logan helped me get what I wanted and stay in price range. He does everything he can to help I went to Modern Nissan not knowing if I could get a car. Logan helped me get what I wanted and stay in price range. He does everything he can to help you out. I had done my research and knew what vehicle I wanted to purchase and what I wanted to pay. searching the internet caused me to be contacted by numerous dealerships in the area. Even though I told them I needed to handle most of the negotiating online due to schedule constraints, I was still heavily pursued and repeated asked "when I would be by." Ben at Modern Nissan of Hickory was the only exception. he answered numerous questions online. I sent pics of my trade and got an estimate (of course that part wasn't final until I took the car in....understandably). the entire experience was pleasant...no high pressure sales. I would definitely recommend Ben, Logan and the entire team at Modern Nissan. More
