I called the Modern Mazda location (and visited several others) looking for a new CX-5 or maybe a CX-50 and was connected to Sal Bernacchi. He was not rushing me to come over to the showroom but instead preferred to know my interest in a vehicle (commuting vs outdoor/camping, etc) and then pointed out the pros and cons for the cars I had in mind. He sent me a quote via email. A week later I detoured my Friday drive to head to Modern Mazda and was able to meet with him. He showed me the vehicle & color I had in mind, as it had just arrived into their lot. I asked if it could be prepared for pickup the next day and I had time enough to make my arrangements. Sal knew the cars and the features they came with, as well as how to use those and spent his time going through the car completely. You'd think that after 50+ years of going car shopping at dealerships that you would never have a positive experience. Well, here it was a very different experience. This dealership is a fair distance from where I live, but I won't mind driving there to have the car serviced when it needs. More
