Recently my 11 year old Mitsubishi died on me and I was in a position to need a car quickly. After finding the car I truly wanted online, I went to Modern to test drive and was greeted by Marc Pena. He helped keep things as quick and smooth as a car buying process could be. The car I choose was a certified used Mazda that needed to finish the 160 point check before I could purchase it and Marc kept me updated the entire way. He was also very thorough with explaining all the new gizmos and gadgets that come in newer model cars. I would definitely recommend Marc and the entire Modern team to anyone in need of a new car. Bottom line: I would be happy to buy a car here again, the people (especially Henry and Nick) are friendly and knowledgeable and I appreciate that salespeople make an hourly wage, not a commission. We had a great experience with Henry, he helped us get a video of the car we were interested in before we put down a deposit, and then allowed us to put down a deposit and pick up the next day as we are out of state. We spent four hours at the dealership even though we did put a deposit on the car we wanted before we arrived, pre ran our credit application, pre-negotiate our trade-in, and brought a cashier’s check for the down payment. Car buying is just a slow process, and we did have a few hiccups (like almost not getting the VIN etching) but this is one of the better dealerships we’ve been to. More
