I recently purchased a certified used 2022 Mazda CX 5 Carbon Edition from Modern Mazda in Thomaston. While buying a car is far from my favorite activity, product specialist Steve Duffy and the Modern tea Carbon Edition from Modern Mazda in Thomaston. While buying a car is far from my favorite activity, product specialist Steve Duffy and the Modern team made everything go very smoothly. I appreciated the straightforward and competitive pricing and the transparency of the whole sales process. Even though I came in with this particular car in mind, Steve took some time to sit and check in with me about what in particular I was looking for without trying to upsell me on a more expensive vehicle. Steve answered all my questions and went through what the certified used program entailed and the details of the warranties that came with the car. Modern asked for the opportunity to see if they match or do slightly better on the financing rate that I had gotten pre approved, which they were able to do. When we first looked at the ca,r Steve pointed out a small puck in a side panel and said they would take care of it. When I came to pick up the car Steve volunteered that they were not able to get to the job, but wrote the needed work into the final paperwork so that there would be no confusion about what they owed me next time the car was there for service.
