Had an appointment for an oil change for 1:30pm. Car wasn’t ready until 3pm. They didn’t even bring the car in the garage until 2:45pm. Was told it took so long because they are understaffed. Our experience with Mitchell Subaru was terrible! We purchased a used 2014 Jeep from them and they never performed a safety inspection on the vehicle before selling it to us. Luckily, we had our mechan purchased a used 2014 Jeep from them and they never performed a safety inspection on the vehicle before selling it to us. Luckily, we had our mechanic look it over before we purchased it. Mitchell did fix all of the issues but told us that they forgot to do the inspection. I do not know how they could miss such an important step in the selling process. Then after we bought it we noticed that they gave us free rubber floor mats that were not there when we purchased it. The reason was not because they were nice but because the roof was leaking and they wanted to hide the leak from us. We noticed the leak when we got home. Their response was "Jeeps leak." We brought it to them 8 times to fix the leak and they never were able to. I finally had to deal with the General Manager who asked me "How much money do we have to put in this Jeep before we are happy?" I told them "Until it is fixed." After the 8th time they finally let us take it to our mechanic who fixed the leaks the first time he worked on it. He told us that the seals around the Freedom tops were bad and that he replaced them. We pointed this out to Mitchell after the 2nd time of them looking at it and asked them to replace. Their response was "It is a lot of work to do that and sometimes you can make the leak worse." He also replaced the seals around the passenger door which he said were also bad. We told him that Mitchell told us that they already replaced it. He said that there was not way they did or if they did they replaced it with a used bad seal. More

Steve and Tom are professional and trustworthy. Customer service and their reputation for repeat customers are important to them. All the other suburu dealerships charged up to $5000 over sticker price (St service and their reputation for repeat customers are important to them. All the other suburu dealerships charged up to $5000 over sticker price (Steve Lewis ,s Hadley ma) but Mitchell is the only one that does not charge over sticker. I will be a returning customer.
