Great service and car buying experience I recently bought a Subaru from Mike Shaw and had a pleasant experience. I bought a '14 Impreza wagon which, originally, had a monthly payment just a I recently bought a Subaru from Mike Shaw and had a pleasant experience. I bought a '14 Impreza wagon which, originally, had a monthly payment just a bit out of my price range. My salesman, Keith, was very patient and worked with me to bring the monthly payment down to a price I could afford. The car had some dog hair stuck in the seats so Keith told me to bring it back in, at my convenience, to get it detailed free of cost. When I brought it home I noticed there was some minor cosmetic damage, clear coat scratches from a dog and curb paint on the bumpers. I contacted Keith (he responded to every email) and he took care of everything! I was worried I got stuck with the damage but Keith had the service team detail and buff the car. It came out looking completely brand new. I am very impressed by the service and am happy I found a place I can trust. More

Negative experience Waiting on paperwork for plates. DMV advised me that Shaw Subaru did NOT properly fill out all the paperwork . Here I sit on vacation, wanting to use said vehicle to go to Arizona. Can not be in Arizona and have the temp tag expire. Now I get excuses...so sorry I did business at this dealership. This is why the car business has the reputation that it does. Tread careful if you are thinking of trusting this dealership with your hard earned money. The finance manager would not return my phone call. The managing partner would not respond to my email or call me at the number I sent him. The salesman did just email me , explaining that it was my fault the paperwork was sent in wrong. How could that be ? I am not the one who works for the dealership....excuses. More

When I arrived all of the paperwork had been prepared in advance and was correct the first time. I was taken care of promptly, in and out in less than two hours. Cliff made sure to arrange for all necessary registration paperwork to be sent to a convenient DMV location near me, and even made arrangements to pay any late fees incurred by the difference in state purchase/registration processing times. Also, I will add that on the day of my purchase the sales floor was very busy, and I was impressed by the cheerful and positive atmosphere among employees and customers. More
