Garret is nice to talk to and was able to answer any questions I had about the car. As a theme of my experience, it was low pressure: The focus was on the drive itself. Like most dealerships, Mike Shaw Subaru wants you to walk out with a car due to heavy competition. I was offered such a deal. I needed a few hours to digest, and I was able to take the car for a couple of hours to grab coffee and reflect on my feelings about the car itself. This was a deal-breaker as I got some time alone in the car and felt less in-the-moment-decide-now-or-OHNO pressure. At no point do I feel like Garret or anyone at Mike Shaw Subaru was pushing me which made the negotiation process pleasant. That said, do expect to negotiate a little and to have your heart set on a car *before* you come in. Josh in finance is easy to work with and helped me follow up on payment after I left the dealership. I can only recommend that you buy a car at Mike Shaw Subaru. All of the staff were very pleasant to deal with. More
