In Colorado, Subaru is King.....perfect blend of engineering, practicality and functionality for the terrain of the area. I worked with folks from four different dealerships and came to Mike Shaw on the day that I intended to buy elsewhere. Rob Oja called and convinced me that I shouldn't ignore Mike Shaw's dealerships....and that their comfortable and neighborly approach to matching people with their "rides" was worth a shot. So.....I shared the vehicle requirements I had, the budget within which I had to stay, and ten minutes later, I was provided the best deal of any of the dealerships in the market. I needed to complete the purchase that day and it was already 4:30. I was headed out of town the next morning and wouldn't be back for several weeks. Rob got their folks in gear; got the financing approved in 10 minutes; and initiated the vehicle prep for delivery that evening. Without a doubt, it was the quickest and least painless purchase I've ever made. And, because nothing is ever that easy, the one challenge to the successful delivery reared its head just as we were signing the last documents at the dealership. And, this is what separates the good guys from the bad guys. The price that Rob provided over the phone.....in his mind......was exclusive of taxes. The price I heard during our phone negotiations was "all in". And there's the rub. I couldn't go with the price "plus tax" and was going to have to leave empty handed. My daughter was BUMMED. However....Rob to the rescue! Rob worked with the Mike Shaw team and in a matter of a few minutes, they had corrected to paperwork to the number that I had been happy with. They apologized for the confusion and closed the deal. To say that I was amazed is an understatement. They stood by their word even though it was going to cost the company money. You just don't see that any more. So.....to Rob and the Mike Shaw Subaru team in Thornton, Colorado, THANK YOU! You have a new raving fan. My daughter is thrilled and I'm enriched by knowing that there are still some straight shooters out there. More

I stopped in for an oil change on my Forester and spoke with my salesman Kieth Traczynski about test driving a 2018 Outback just for grins. I had mentioned our Forester was feeling a little small for our family but I didn't think we could get into a new car right now, (especially an outback) and afford the payments. Well, he made that happen for us. We got everything we wanted far sooner than we expected and kept our payments completely manageable! Keith went out of his way to make sure we got exactly what we wanted. And at the end of our sale he said an amazingly sweet prayer for our family and surprised my 3 year old with a hot wheels Outback she had been eyballing on the wall of his office.
