Subaru owners for life. Cliff Swaim first introduced us to Subaru in 2010. We have since leased 2 foresters and purchased a new Ascent from him. Cheesy sales tactics, obnoxious, unprepared staff and an overall feeling that I was being hustled. I walked out. Phone calls to other dealerships in the time since, and I had a similar feeling of what was to come, so I never even made it through the door. I tried again a year later with Mike Shaw, very wary and concerned that it would be more of the same. The phone call went shockingly well, I had all the info I needed in 30 seconds and that was that. Greeted at the door with a genuine smile, I was then introduced to Cliff Swaim, who had the model I was looking for ready and waiting. No lame sales pitch, no song and dance, just right to the point. A no pressure type environment, I felt at ease the whole time. I’m one to shop around and double check everything before making a decision, and they were very accommodating to this. If I said I didn’t want something, that was the last I heard about it. Never a feeling that I was trying to be swindled. Buying a new car can be a terrible experience, but it doesn’t have to be. The folks at Mike Shaw are testimony to that. Never thought I would be willing to leave such a positive endorsement for a car dealership, but when people take care of you, you thank them. Thanks to Cliff and everyone down at the dealership for the positive experience. Would recommend this place to everyone. More

Great Team Work! This was my FIRST time ever buying a new car. I started with going to many dealerships and driving many cars. I went back to Mike Shaw Subaru three ti This was my FIRST time ever buying a new car. I started with going to many dealerships and driving many cars. I went back to Mike Shaw Subaru three times. Not only did the sales person;Rob Oja, blow away all the others... so did the Crosstrek! I never felt pressured. He took his time with me and answered ALL my questions multiple times. After buying the car Rob(OJ) made sure I understood the vast technology and even downloaded and programmed many apps. Alex in finance was wonderful. He went over the various warranties and additional services as many times as I needed it to be explained. He walked me to the back lot to show me what certain items would look like, tint, clear bra, etc. When I told friends I was going to buy a car, everyone of them offered up a horror story. I don't have any to share! Matt, the Sales Manager called me several times to check in pre-purchase. OJ searched high and low for the exact car and color I wanted. However, at Mike Shaw Subaru, I was always treated with respect, the guys Cliff and Oja bent over backwards for me to get me in the vehicle that I wanted. I was so indecisive that I literally went to the dealership three times for several hours to test drive vehicles and talk to the experts. I was never hassled or pressured into anything. Cliff and Oja were up front with me the whole time, and by the end of the sale, I felt like I was buying a car from a couple guys I’ve known forever. Oh and btw, my wife bought a band new vehicle from the top. I would totally recommend this dealership, and I would deal with these guys any day of the week.
