Love the car we purchased. Vico personally delivered it which was above and beyond and much appreciated. . Last week-end we had a fault light come on indicating that the vehicle after 50 miles the speed would be limited to 50 mph. I looked up this warning in the owner's manual and it said that I needed to ha that the vehicle after 50 miles the speed would be limited to 50 mph. I looked up this warning in the owner's manual and it said that I needed to have the vehicle serviced immediately. Also during the week we were having problems with the speakers on the left side of the vehicle working intermittently. We scheduled an appointment and took the truck to Longmont Ford in Longmont, CO on Monday afternoon. The service advisor, Stephen Nardone (SP) told us that he would give us a call the next day between noon and 2:00 PM and let us know what the status of the vehicle was. Stephen never called so at about 5:00PM I called him. Stephen told us that they had just got to the truck and that he would call us in the morning to give us an update. Once again, no update on Wednesday morning. Later Wed. afternoon we did finally here back from Stephen and he told us a part had to be ordered and that it would be in on Thursday morning and that we should be able to pick the truck up early in the afternoon. Thursday morning came and went and late Thursday afternoon I called Longmont Ford back to get a status. I was told that the part had just arrived and that it would now be Friday sometime before it was available to be picked up. Friday morning came and went and just afternoon I called Stephen back to get an update on the truck. I was told that there was good news and bad news. They put the new part in the truck but the stereo system still did not work and that the Ford engineers were in some sort of training on Friday (today). I told Stephen I need the truck this week-end and asked if they had looked at the fault sensor and he indicated that had been fixed. Stephen said to come get the truck in about thirty minutes or so. I arrived at the dealership and had about the crappiest service I have ever had. Stephen was away from the service desk and a kind young man paged him to return. Several minutes had passed and the young man started to look for our paperwork. I could see the key to my truck on the counter and I told him there is my key. He said there should be some paper work for me to sign but he wasn't able to locate it. After several more minutes waiting for Stephen to return and the kind young man looking for our paperwork Stephen appeared. The young man told Stephen that we were there to pick up our truck. Stephen said it isn't done there isn't any paperwork just give him the key. Stephen reached for the key and tossed it up on the counter and said, "See you Monday." I am so angry about the lack of customer service at this dealership that I will not return it on Monday. I am going to take it to Sill-tehar Ford in Broomfield on Tuesday. After I got home from the dealership I noticed that I now have a nice big scrape on the inside of my door panel where it appears the mechanic slipped with his tool trying to remove the door panel! Nice on a brand new truck! I like the sales department but I would NEVER recommend the service department. It seems like over the last few years this service department has been lacking just that... good cutomer service! Extreamly SLOW and NOT friendly. I had a Ford Expedition and they told me my head gaskets were blown and that it was cheap at $5,000!!! Yes, Stephen Nardone had the nerve to tell me that $5,000.00 was cheap! He must make a lot of money becuase $5,000 to me is NOT cheap! AVOID THIS PLACE unless you want unfriendly slow service! More
I had been working on a deal with a dealership down here in Denver and that fell through, we though that we may not be able to find my wife her dream focus. I would wholeheartedly recommend this dealer for the one reason alone and his name is Gary Lapuma. We came in not knowing what type of car we were looking for or what type of financing we could obtain due reason alone and his name is Gary Lapuma. We came in not knowing what type of car we were looking for or what type of financing we could obtain due to my husband's previous divorce. Gary sat down with us and was very patient as we went through our options for financing and a car. He even walked the lot with us for over an hour writing down VIN #s so that we could testdrive whatever we wanted. Gary's warmth, professionalism, and no pressure sales really are what sealed the deal for us. We walked in not expecting to buy a car that day and left with a beautiful car within our budget and a lower payment than expected. He went to bat for us with financing and price!!!! He spent over 6 hours with us on Saturday, and this by far has been the best nonpressuring car deal my husband and I have ever done. We will definitely be back for another car or truck the next time we need one, and we will definitely work with Gary L only!!!!. I have worked in customer service and sales for many years, and I was floored at how Gary went above and beyond. The nav system was not working properly and the 2nd key was missing (previously owned car). He not only got both of those issues resolved, which he most certainly didn't have to do days after the sale, he also had one other minor issue repaired at no cost!!!!! WHAT SALESPERSON DOES THIS I ASK YOU????? Thank you, Gary for providing exemplary service and kindness in a business not known for these attributes. Gary,we will definitely be back soon for my husband's new truck and will be working exclusively with you. Service, no pressure, and going above and beyond for us really sealed the deal. I had alot of concerns from small dents to a broken mirror housing to bald tires and pieces coming off the tires. I also only recieve one set of keys so far. I have sat and waited all day for a call for some dings to be repaired and yet no call. So far its gonna cost me around $1500 to fix these items. I have expressed my concerns and no results. Do not take delivery after dark and waiting 4 hrs as you most likely will not be getting for what you asked.... Also today 3 weeks after purchasing this vehicle my bank took a partial payment as they sent the wrong payoff (short as on the contract)So I had to catch it on my bank statement and very lucky to have the extra funds to cover it. Very disatisfied with this dealer and saleperson and General manager. If they would of been honest I would of financed extra tires and fixed the items myself. I was led to believe I was gonna be taken care of and no vehicle goes out unsafe. So not true. I would not recomend this dealer to anyone and thats why I take my sons ford to I25 ford at least they tell you up front. Except for alot of extra costs I do love the truck not the service... More
