Originally, it was suggested by a local repair service that I would need to take my vehicle to my Kia dealership since the oil leak they checked for wasn’t the gasket cover they had fixed previously. It was coming from further back in the engine requiring Kia’s attention. James Stassi sent me an invoice detailing the repairs. He also sent some other suggested repairs. I asked that he fix the oil leak and I would address the other items later. He said he would contact me once my parts had come in and my vehicle had been tested and was ready. Once I arrived home and looked over the invoice, I noticed that he was replacing the gasket which had been replaced previously by the other repair shop and I called to question that. His comment was it probably wasn’t done right. After having my vehicle until 1/12/2026, I was contacted and told that I could come and pick it up. Mr Stassi explained that he wouldn’t be there when I arrived but to let him know if I had any questions. I explained to the person who contacted me that I would have to fill up the loaner car with gas, as requested, and drive there during rush hour because I didn’t get off until 4:30. I arrived and everyone there was trying to close for the evening. I went to the counter to pay and my total was more than the amount on my invoice. I asked the man about this and showed him the quote. He said “Oh, that’s probably taxes or something.” I thought that the amount you were quoted was the amount that you paid, unless otherwise stated. I told him that I needed to make certain that I had everything out of the loaner car. His comment was “Don’t worry. He’s already checked it! “ The gentleman checking in the loaner had already begun cleaning it. Well, I would like to make sure myself! I asked if there was anyway that anyone could show me the work that was done or go over it with me and he said “No, not really. You just let us know if you have any problems.” I left the entire situation feeling as if my concerns weren’t addressed and my questions didn’t have any merit and that I was more of a problem to be dealt with rather than a customer.
