Tire Replacement I came in needing a new tire but they didn’t have one in stock. They ordered one and it came in next day. He even explained to me why some tires can be patched and other can’t do to certain regulations which is awesome information just in case later on in life someone try’s to take more money from me. The Kia service department always looks super clean and they always offer me water or coffee. I don’t remember the service techs name but he was super friendly as well as the ladies at the desk. I’ve never had a bad experience at Kia Midtown. Greg was definitely awesome! More

Cluster I was given a complimentary oil change after buying my car as they couldn’t determine if my car had a current one or not. When I arrived, no one ackno I was given a complimentary oil change after buying my car as they couldn’t determine if my car had a current one or not. When I arrived, no one acknowledged me, I was passed back and forth between three people trying to determine if my oil change and loaner car were really not coming out of my pocket. After 30 minutes, I was finally in a loaner that was dirty, had trash in it and smelled of mildew. Not a great first impression of the service department I’ll be needing to use for several more years. When I returned to get my car, my car is now dirty on the inside as well. They don’t seem to care about maintaining the interior of vehicles. More
Strange visit.... I dropped my car off for a recall and to swap out two tires for used tires I had with better tread. I got a call a little while later asking if I knew I dropped my car off for a recall and to swap out two tires for used tires I had with better tread. I got a call a little while later asking if I knew where the tire lock key is because they stated that they could not find it. I said I'm not sure but I would think either the back, under the floor boards with the tire changing accessories, glove box, or center console. They assured me they have already checked in all of those areas as well as throughout my entire vehicle to no avail. I was told my only option was for them to remove the locks on the wheels since they did not have a key to fit my vehicle and they "could not find" mine. I picked up the vehicle that afternoon. All seemed fine. Two days later I wake up to see that one of the back tires that they had put on was completely flat. I went to the back of the car to get the tire jack and accessories and what do you know, right there next to the tire jack was the tire lock key! Right where it should be. When I look into it though, I notice it is broken. Very odd. I find it extremely strange that I was told they had looked everywhere in my vehicle and absolutely could not find it. I just find it hard to believe that a service specialist would look over it sitting right where it should be. The only conclusion I can draw from this is that they must have broken the tool and then lied to me about not being able to find it. When I said I'm not sure where it is but have they looked in those places, they thought I wouldn't pick up on the fact that they broke it. I probably would have fallen for this had they not placed it right back where it belongs in the back by the tire jack after breaking it. I am super annoyed by this misleading visit and I feel like I can no longer trust Midtown Kia for service. It is unfortunate as this was where I typically get my vehicle serviced. I'm also out money for the visit, and had to change a flat myself and buy two brand new tires expectantly. Most of all I am disappointed in the dishonesty of the service department. My car was also due for an oil change, needs new wiper blades, a battery just to name a few things. I would have appreciated recommendations on services as well as estimates for services based on the "free inspection" they performed on my vehicle. I did get all of that and more though when I went to Hibdon to get emergency brand new tires over the weekend. More
