Stay away I bought a Kia Soul back in December and during my negotiations they were able to match the price for the same car at Ferguson Kia. When I asked what I bought a Kia Soul back in December and during my negotiations they were able to match the price for the same car at Ferguson Kia. When I asked what the interest rate would be they came back with 4.99% and I have excellent credit. I laughed at them, ripped the paper up and walked out. Upon leaving Brett, the owners son ran out after me but I went home. They called my phone several times and after cooling off I returned the call and they said they could do 3.99%. I had checked the going rates so that was acceptable. I ended up buying the car, but I was in a hurry because my daughter was going back to school. I went back this past Saturday to purchase yet another Kia Sorento and walked in prepared with the price from Ferguson Kia and Midtown. Midtown Kia was $1000.00 more for the same car. Albert the sales person was taking care of me and when I asked him if they would match the price he went to ask. The owner came back and sat down and proceeded to tell me that he could not match the price and that the Sorento at Ferguson Kia was likely a punched car and that the cars warranty started in June 2018. He also said that every time he sells one of these discounted cars which it was discounted $9000, he losses money and has to write a check. I was there buying a car because my car had been totaled and needed to have it replaced, so I needed to get this done fairly quick. I said alright, now it depends on the interest rate and warned the sales person not to come back with a bad rate because my credit was excellent. The poor sales guy comes back and tells me " I have great news and shows me the paper and again it has 4.99%. I got up and told him you all don't get and you don't listen, I left and told him he had till Monday to come up with a really good deal. On Sunday night I printed off Ferguson Kia's Sorento prices on 3 cars. The one that I wanted which was the same as the one at Midtown. I went to Ferguson Kia on Monday night. They had the car pulled up when I arrived, the price was what they said it was and they worked to find me the best interest rate possible which ended up at 3.23%. This was the best, most pleasant and best car buying experience that I have had. This is my fifth Kia, so I thought that customer loyalty would have meant something to Midtown Kia but it didn't. Primeaux Kia was great, I bought two Kia's from them and one from Hudiberg Kia. That was four total Kia's from that same location it did not matter. I will never step foot in Midtown Kia or buy another car from there. Buyer beware and do your homework! More
