I went to have a part that the service advisor ordered installed, because the technician working on my removed a part without my permission and it could not be replaced. I was quoted a price, I paid for t installed, because the technician working on my removed a part without my permission and it could not be replaced. I was quoted a price, I paid for the part and scheduled an appointment to have the part they removed replaced. After an hour of waiting I am told that they ordered and charged me for the wrong part and I needed to pay the difference that was more than half of what I paid for the previous part, or get a refund and drive around without the part that they took off. I was not at fault and the situation was not handled well. I requested a refund because I was not at fault and I could not understand how do you take off a part and reorder the "same" part that was removed, but tell me it is the wrong part and show me a piece of paper with a different name and drastically increased price. This was my first time “visiting” the service department. I usual have concierge service.
