When I arrived for my scheduled service appointment, the wrong vehicle on my account was scheduled. Apparently the girl who made the appointment was not paying attention as to which one of my vehicles needed service. Therefore new paperwork had to be created. More

Worst experience in 8 years. My wife and I have purchased four vehicles in the past 8 years - we drive a lot of miles for our family business - and have used the Middletown Toyota My wife and I have purchased four vehicles in the past 8 years - we drive a lot of miles for our family business - and have used the Middletown Toyota Service Department for most service on all of them. Our past experience with service has always been great until my most recent. On the morning of August 21, 2018 I called to schedule a routine 25k service on my 2017 Corolla - a female picked up and asked me to hold. Waited five minutes, and nobody picked back up at which point the system put me through to voicemail. I left a message and waited for a return call. After waiting an hour and not hearing back I called a second time. Female picked up, I was placed on hold, waited five minutes and back to voicemail. Waited the rest of the day on the 21st - no call back and all day on Wednesday 8/22 with the same outcome - no return call. This is a very busy time of year for my business, so on Thursday 8/23 I made sure I was there (first in line) at the service bay when it opened. I explained to the gentleman at the counter that I didn't have an appointment and explained the problems I had trying to make one. He seemed annoyed that I was there without an appointment - no apology for my inability to arrange an appointment or my calls not being returned. He said, "You're going to wait", and I said yes I planned on waiting - obviously I didn't understand his statement so he clarified with attitude "No, we have a full schedule, you're going to be here a while - at least an hour and a half". I asked him to do the best he could. Work was done to the best of my knowledge, and I was out in 55 minutes. The very next day, Friday 8/24, I received a Remedy Notice from Toyota regarding a service campaign for a problem with CVT software. Why wasn't I informed of this problem while I was at the service department the day before? Did the gentleman even check for recalls/ known issues concerning my vehicle - they always had in the past. Now I'll need to get the vehicle back in for another service appointment to correct that problem/ recall. I not sure what has caused this negative change with the service at the Middletown location, but I was not satisfied with my last service experience. If these problems continue in the future, my wife and I will certainly be taking our business elsewhere. More

Some of the younger on I have used this service center for years. I am very happy with the "older" experienced representatives with service details. In for a tune up Customer service is very good. I was in for a simple tune-up and oil change and it was done in a timely manner. The only improvement I can suggest i Customer service is very good. I was in for a simple tune-up and oil change and it was done in a timely manner. The only improvement I can suggest is the wi-fi in your customer lounge. It was virtually non-existent. Oh, and have someone clean the restrooms throughout the day. More
