Very rude Brought my highlander in the button adjustment on driver side up and down was not working well. Very jerky movement. Dropped it off was told it would be 128.00 for one hour diagnostic. If they could fix the problem in that time they would do it and I would be done. Called me and told me it was a bad switch and the switch alone was 650 dollars plus labor. Wanted to check around because I could purchase the switch myself with warranty and true Toyota part for 450 dollars. Felt there price of 128 dollars an hour was very high. Used another garage in the area for my Audi and it was only 95 dollars an hour. Picked up the car after service center was closed. Owner was there and we questioned a 6.50 charge for hazmat. Was told everyone pays that. Told them if that was the case should have been told that when I dropped of my car. Was told only the 128 dollars. Not a large amount of money but probably only had to get in my car check the adjustment button and know it had to be replaced. 10 minutes for 128 dollars is a good gig. When I said I wanted it taken off my bill the owner turned an angry shade of purple and was really rude. Now full disclosure I didn’t really care he was rude I handle myself very well with rude people matching him tone for tone. My low mark is for not being upfront with this charge and seeing a couple other invoices for service that did not have that on it so felt it was a lie. More
