My story going back from last repair on my vehicle, I came in for a oil change and a plug for my tires, the service person advised me it will take a couple of hours so I waited went shopping, then I took my care and the plug was never done, and paid 65 bucks for oil change and 45 for plug what wasn't done, came back the next morning with a low tier, so ask why my plug wasn't done, he said because I need new tires, so asked why I got charged for not doing a plug he didn't know why, so had to buy new tires because he refused to do a plug for that tire, so I asked to refund my plug charge, he didn't want only offered a free oil change for next visit, so after 3 months, I came in with my vehicle for a oil changed and tire adjustment, went to this same creepy service manager because I could only got a free oil change from him, and he advised me it will take about 2 hours, didn't had a choice and stayed and waited, after 2 hours i went to ask him what the status, then he told me that they are working on it, they probably started to working on it then, to make the long story short I was waiting there for more than 5 hours, spend a entire work day for this silly honda, and this vehicle is not old, has very few miles. Will not recommend leasing or buying a honda and especially from Middletown Honda More
I recently brought in my 2008 Honda Accord to be serviced for a check engine light I had. It turned out to be for a purge valve in my fuel tank. I was in a few weeks earlier because the check engine light wa for a check engine light I had. It turned out to be for a purge valve in my fuel tank. I was in a few weeks earlier because the check engine light was on, but when I had it checked at Auto Zone first they reset it, so I had to wait for it to come back on. I dealt with Chris Burba the entire time my car was in Honda's care, and he was very professional, respectful and courteous to deal with. He even checked and verified that the work being done on my car was covered under the emissions warranty (15 years / 150,000 miles). I only had to pay $29 for another service I had done (that was after the $99 vehicle evaluation fee was deducted). When I picked up my car the check engine light was taken care of, and I am very satisfied with the level of service I received. Chris and even the cashier women were all very friendly. I highly recommend Middletown Honda for the outstanding service I received. More
My salesman had quit on the day my car was supposed to be delivered and nobody in the dealership had called me and let me know what was going on or anything! i went to the dealership to find out what was go delivered and nobody in the dealership had called me and let me know what was going on or anything! i went to the dealership to find out what was going on with my car and my salesman i had dealt with and i know everything was all messed up because of that but nobody even called me. They had put me with another salesman and i did not care for him at all, he was trying to locate my car, but he had also said that the type of car i wanted was unpopular which i thought was very unprofessional to say to me, after that i just got discourged and decided to go to another dealer which was morehead honda of newburgh, i'm very dissapointed with middletown honda i will never have dealings with them again. More
This was by far the most pleasant and easy experience buying a car. I bought a 2008 Honda Civic LX and it is beautiful. I dealt with Ed Folkl and I hope I don't have to tell you more than say he is the s buying a car. I bought a 2008 Honda Civic LX and it is beautiful. He was professional and honest and the negotiating process was simple and I couldn't have been happier! I highly recommend this dealership and personally reference Ed as a the place to go if you're looking to buy a car! More
Took our spare and old 1990 Honda last year for service on the FRONT automatic seat belts which was a lifetime warranty issue supposedly covered by Honda corporate. Made an appointment and waited 90 minut on the FRONT automatic seat belts which was a lifetime warranty issue supposedly covered by Honda corporate. Made an appointment and waited 90 minutes after that time to get the car inspected. They said they don't have the seat belt tensioner motor but they will order it. We made a follow up appointment a few days later and brought the car back in. This time I waited 2 hours and when I didn't hear anything, went up and they said they haven't worked on it yet - though I saw 2 other NEW cars get in before me. That means they forgot about me. I waited another 2 hours and they said it was done. Went to try it out and the front seat belt was STILL not working. They said they worked on the back seat belt and put in a new one (????) There was NOTHING wrong with the rear seat belt. Then they said that the car was too old and they could not get that part in to fix the front seat belts. No apologies, no nothing. I spent over 8 hours waiting for a repair that was ultimately never done. With no apologies and no adequate explanation for the multiple goofs, I would highly NOT RECOMMEND them performing any repairs or business. More
Well I am have said this before, I have never used Middletown Honda before and was not sure what to expect in January 2012. I was very happy with the service of my Jeep even though I felt like I became part of the furniture at the dealership. everyone got to know me and when it was time to say goodbye to my Jeep they made the transition so easy for me...it is now 2013 and me and my new Honda CRV are doing great and that is all thanx to my wonderful salesman Tito and his boss George. They are two very good people and very dear to my heart. I will continue to take my car to Middletown Honda for any oil changes or services needed, I go where I feel like family...for that I could not ask for anything more. More
In connection with my previous post, I am now withdrawing my complaint. Unbeknownst to me initially, the service manager, Mr. Jeff Lucca attempted to reach out to me as soon as he got word about my dissatis my complaint. Unbeknownst to me initially, the service manager, Mr. Jeff Lucca attempted to reach out to me as soon as he got word about my dissatisfaction with the price I paid. When we did make eventual contact, he understood I was looking to get a concession for the diagnosis fee and without hesitation expressed his willingness to honor this request. My complaint as originally posted was only with the price I was charged with the last servicing. It did not reflect the quality of the service done at this dealership. The Middletown shop has always done top notch work and because of this I'm glad we were able to come to a reasonable resolution. I really did not want to burn my bridges with this dealership. So this issue was resolved and I intend to return in the future for servicing. More

Do not purchase from this dealership! They did not specify the term length when they gave a payment estimation. They also tried to get me to use Honda financing which was 2 percent higher than the be specify the term length when they gave a payment estimation. They also tried to get me to use Honda financing which was 2 percent higher than the best available in the area and when I told them that my bank offered a much lower APR they acted shocked even though they deal with this bank on a regular basis. When the vehicle was delivered it had a quarter tank of gas, the rear two tires had no tread left, the key fob was dead, the headphones for the DVD player did not work and it was missing the rain guard on the front passenger window. I will never buy a vehicle or service my vehicle with this second rate dealer ever again. I will buy Honda again but I will use a different dealership. More
I brought my Honda CR-V in for a recall service.... I had scheduled the service over the phone, and the person I dealt with on the phone seemed unfamiliar with scheduling as it took her a while to navigate t scheduled the service over the phone, and the person I dealt with on the phone seemed unfamiliar with scheduling as it took her a while to navigate their computer system. No big deal. However, she never indicated to me where to drop the car off for the service. I arrived early to drop my car off for the service, and parked in a very tight, packed parking lot and entered the building, proceeding to the back of the building where I thought the Service Desk was. I did not- find any counter labeled 'Service' so approached the Parts counter... 2 men were in line ahead of me, but the woman behind the counter leaned over to look at me and asked if I needed help. When I told her I was there to drop my car off for a recall, she said I had to go to Service. I stated I did not know where that was and she said something about drive up to the garage doors 'Haven't you ever been here before?' she asked condescendingly. Seriously? Why ask me that or comment in a way that made it seem like I was stupid for not knowing where the Service Dept. was? And as a matter of fact, no I have not had my car in there more than a couple of times for service, and those times I was not necessarily the person who dropped it off. While there are a million of reasons, none of them that should be any of her business, this could have been my first stop in. Trust me with the attitude I experienced there, it will be my last. When I approached the guy servicing my car about her comments he was incredibly rude, one-upping my comment that I was having a bad day [it being the holidays and having recently lost my father] with a comment that his house burned down... and later commenting that 'the customer isn't always right'. What?! Are you kidding me? These people need a seminar in Customer Relations and how to deal with an upset customer in a way that makes the situation better, not worse. Incredibly unprofessional, and not customer oriented. I can tell you when it's time to trade this car in and get a new one, I certainly want another CR-V, but I will not be buying it or getting it serviced at Honda of Middletown. More
