Here is another Dutchess County dealer I’ve never had a positive experience with. Like several Subaru dealers (not sure why Subaru has this problem) the salesmen are always arrogant and not very knowledge positive experience with. Like several Subaru dealers (not sure why Subaru has this problem) the salesmen are always arrogant and not very knowledgeable. Ashara was very difficult to work with. And always seemed to have a judging attitude and not know much. And did not listen well. Oddly no sales manager was involved only the used car manager who low-balled my trade. Despite the negative experience we agreed to a deal. It was the last day of the month and at first gave me the idea the deal had to be done today. But then after I agreed to a credit report etc. I was told that was not the case and to pick up the car on Friday several days away. I went home. My credit was not run yet. I reached out to ashara and told her I decided for them not to run my credit yet. Note. I get emails whenever my credit is run. I did not get one. She responded back we already ran it and got you a good rate. I said what is the rate and payment? No answer. Alittle while later she responded back with the numbers and right before that I got an email that my credit was run. I know she lied and then ran my credit after I told her not to. To make matters even worse. The next day she told me they were no longer honoring my trade in value! Here I’m supposed to be picking up the car, I never canceled, I just said hold off until Friday on running my credit. So these sneaky people 1) run my credit anyway after I said 3 times not to. And 2) then back out of our deal and try to change the price! I do not recommend this place at all! I ended up getting my last Subaru from CT. Was a much better deal. Also Brewster Subaru is much better dealership. Nicer staff, better prices. This store before and after the remodel always nasty conceited attitude. Never much inventory. Etc. More
There was a loud noise coming from my car for months but the technicians kept saying everything was fine, a family member had to point out it was the wheel bearing. I was also charged over $3000.00 upon purchase of my car for services which they failed to provide stating the services were not covered when i needed it. I also asked several times for my breaks to be checked. I was told several times the breaks were fine until one day I was hit with a $1200.00 break service which i didn’t have and had to go else where for service. More
