I came in for a problem that I had for a while. When I walked in the door I saw they were very busy. Although they were busy a couple of them said they would be right with me. I am used to being ignored at other dealeships. A guy came over from my right, he had a tie on, I found he was the service manager. He asked how I was doing and then he asked what he could do for me. I explained my problem and he went to a computer and started to take my information. I could not believe that the manager would wait on customers. He was fantastic! He listened and asked great questions. He took my information and looked my car over and then told me to have a seat in the waiting room. He, himself, came out about 40 minutes later and told me what the issue was and how much it would cost. I did not want to spend the money but I felt comfortable with him. I got the repair done and the car is running great. Mark was very personable and honest. I felt good spending my money at the dealeship. I will be back. Mark and his staff are great! More

Just purchased our 2nd Nissan for my wife from Rick and Travis. Great dealership and great guys. My wife enjoyed her Altima but looked at several other brands crossover SUVs and in the end we stayed with R Travis. Great dealership and great guys. She projected a very clear and concise voice and the telephone service she provided was outstanding. Secondly, once I came in to test drive and purchase, I met Derrick, who was extremely welcoming and polite to myself as well as my family. He was prompt and extended a great deal of hospitality to us. Finishing, I met Ken, who's great service and heartwarming personality just literally put the icing on the cake for me. I drove my 96 Maxima into MJN on Thursday afternoon to get an electrical problem with my windshield wiper spray serviced. Incidentally, my check engine light had also come on that morning. Chris in Service was great; he had the car looked at right away and was really honest with me about the kind of work that needed to be done on the car (~$600 to start) and whether he thought it was worth it given the state of the car. He told me honestly given the amount of money I had put into the car over the past 9 months that he would cut his losses. This was my instinct too. I had worked with Bill Torri in service back in August and put ~$3500 into the car to keep it alive, thinking it would last me through my PhD program. Bill was great, and believed I'd still get a lot of use out of the car given how much I drive it. The car only had 140,000 miles on it at the time, and we all thought it could get to the high 200's. Well, this latest problem made me change my mind about continuing to sink cash into the Maxima. And Chris was really helpful in getting me on board to buy a new car. Almost immediately, he whisked me into the sales office and set me up with Mark Mula. Mark was extremely patient with me; this was my first new car purchase, and I was on and off the phone with my parents and my financial advisor the whole afternoon, getting their input. We test drove a couple of used vehicles, and then I laid my eyes on the 2012 Juke SL. We test drove the Juke SV and it was a pretty sweet ride. Powerful, fast, compact. I told Mark he had to make me fall in love with grey, since I would have preferred a black or a white car (which they didn't have in the SV or SL trim levels in the lot). It was the last day of the month and they were offering a sweet rebate on the 2012 cars. Still, I balked at the ticket price of the Juke, and the monthly payments I would be incurring on my limited stipend as a graduate student. Mark understood my predicament perfectly, and brought out a 2012 Versa instead. And it was BLACK. I was so touched that Mark remembered my offhanded comment about color from the night before and brought out the car he knew I would love. I dug this car right off the bat, and we went for a nice test drive (~10 miles) to make sure I liked being behind the wheel. Granted, I haven't done this before, so I have limited experience on which to judge Mark's performance as a salesperson. But I'm an anthropologist, so I spend my days and nights thinking about people, culture, and human relations. I can say without qualification that Mark is one of the best people in sales or service of any kind that I have met. He is funny, earnest, considerate, and will bend over backwards to make sure you get the car you want at a price that suits your budget. He's new in the business, but I can see him going far. I should also say a word about Kevin Hooker, the business manager at MJN. Kevin was a lot of fun, and balanced the seriousness of the financial transaction with a healthy dose of friendliness and comedy. I had a great time hanging out with these guys at the dealership over the past two days. They made a loyal customer out of me, and it never seemed like they were trying too hard. You know how some salespeople can come off as corny, or pushy, or fake? Not the folks at MJN. The whole thing felt super natural, not contrived. I believe they truly wanted me to walk away happy, not just because their salaries depend on it, but because they're genuinely nice, considerate people. I wouldn't trust any other place in the Triangle area as much. Consider me a fan for life. More
