I walked into Herb Connolly on a Fridat after several weeks of exchanging emails with another dealership. I walked in was introduced to Sean, told him exactly what I was looking for and made an appointm weeks of exchanging emails with another dealership. I walked in was introduced to Sean, told him exactly what I was looking for and made an appointment for the next day (was still working). I showed up on Saturday, and he was ready to go. He was upfront with me in regards to what he had on stock but said they could do a locate and be there 48-72 hours, which was awesome because the other dealership was trying to Up-Sell me into something I did not want or need. We did our road test, and talked. I told him the color was the only thing, so we went in did the appraisal on my turn-in. Now like most people I did my research on what roughly I figured my car was worth. The number Sean brought back to me was higher than I even anticipated. We sat down worked on a deal and I waited to be called. I picked up my vehicle today, and the process was quick, efficient, and precise. Unfortunately, Sean was unable to be there for the pickup as I would have liked to tell him how thrilled I am he turned what had been a nightmare into a simple and easy process. I would definitely recommend Herb Connolly Hyundai to anyone, and especially Sean as your salesman as he listens, helps, and basically makes you feel like you "settled". More
Initially, I had a reasonably good experience with this dealership, having bought a new Genesis Coupe in March. The problems started when I was called about refunding this dealership $500 for a rebate whi dealership, having bought a new Genesis Coupe in March. The problems started when I was called about refunding this dealership $500 for a rebate which they had given me. Apparently, upon submission, Hyundai corporate determined that I wasn't eligible for the military discount (disclaimer: I am a veteran) which Connolly gave me and Doug (who I believe is a manager of some sort at this dealership; at least his surname would lead one to believe so)wanted me to pay them for what I can only see as their lack of knowledge relative to their own policies and procedures. Truth be told, I actually entertained the idea, until Doug threatened to take me to Small Claims court to recover the sum. Now being a matter of principle ( as customer service 101 clearly states "threaten not the customer"), I told him that, given that the price I agreed to pay was clearly now not the actual price of the car, I would be happy to return it. Of course, this was not acceptable to Mr. Connolly, so we terminated the conversation in an indeterminate state. Thank goodness for the good people at Hyundai Corporate: when I explained the situation to them via their web site, it appears that SOMETHING happened--at least, Doug did subsequently call me up to tell me that he was dropping the matter. Obviously, I was glad about ths development, and I do continue to be glad about it, but I don't think that I will grace Herb Connolly Hyundai with my presence. Look, in my mind, at least, you might have a decent experience, but you might get an after-the-fact call as did I, looking for a few more bucks, or something "suddenly" may have been discovered, which means you get to subsidize their education. Does anyone wonder if I would have recieved the same call if it was determined that it was I who was allegedly owed money? Caveat emptor. All dealership stuff aside, I do really like the Genesis Coupe, & I am really thinking that the Hyundai brand rocks. Can't wait to try out the Veloster. I just recommend that you do it somewhere else other than Doug and Co. More
When I initially walked into Herb Connolly I was skeptical. I walked in with zero trust in car dealerships. I had been dealing and been given various run-around from the other dealership for almost a full month and despite my extremely pessimistic outlook they greeted me with smiles and promises to fulfill every promise they made. I have to be honest...I did not believe that they could find my car (indigo blue pearl Hyundai Elantra 2011) and I did not believe that they would actually call when they said they would (Clay never did) But sure enough they started to prove me wrong. Phone calls were returned promptly and they made every effort to make me happy. My belief that all car dealerships were sleazy completely changed when I met with Travis the Finance manager to sign my lease. Having never signed a lease before he took his time and made sure I completely understood every part of the contract. Further I started seeing documents Clay never had me sign! Connolly had my sign a confidentiality document which stated that my personal information would not be used or shown to anyone else. In this day and age that is extremely reassuring! Every time I walked through the doors they always were quick to greet me and show excellent customer service. But more importantly than that this is one dealership that clearly has excellent business practices. I think this is one of the few car dealerships that really cares about their customers. I RECOMMEND THEM!! More
My experience at Herb Connolly Hyundai was overall a great one. Buying a car is a big financial step to take, and the experience can be both stressful and time-consuming. I went to this dealership because of their reputation, and they did not disappoint. I did not feel at all pressured to commit to anything, and I really felt that when I was there, the salesperson treated me as his most important customer. He gave me his undivided attention, gave me honest facts about the car, and worked hard to get me a good deal. The manager was extremely friendly, and I could really see that professionalism and courtesy works from the top down at this dealership. Everyone I encountered and dealt with at this dealership was friendly, helpful, and kept a great balance between listening to what I wanted and could afford, and providing me with options. I've heard from so many other dealerships and salespeople that they are "in the business of selling cars." Obviously, that's their business, and that's why we as customers go to them. But at Herb Connolly, although I knew that their ultimate goal was to sell me a car, I really felt that I could trust that they had my best interest at heart, and that they believe that the business of selling cars should not get in the way of treating their customers with respect, courtesy, and care. Buying a car is a big commitment to make, and can be stressful, but at Herb Connolly, they made sure that my experience was as seamless and stress-free as possible. More
Visited Herb Connelly Hyundai for my first car purchase and worked with Ritch. He was very friendly and laid back and answered all my questions. I never felt pressured working with any of the employees - they were respectful and understanding of my opinion and situation. They were helpful and responsive in finding the exact car I wanted and communicated well with me about the status of my car. When it was ready for delivery, Ritch came and picked me up since I was unable to get to the dealership to get the car. When I got to the dealership, the car was totally ready (and in impeccable condition!) and everything went smoothly. Ritch even helped me set up the bluetooth and navigation and answered all the questions that I had. I would definitely buy another car from Ritch and Herb Connelly Hyundai. Thank you! More

Wens provided the best customer service I was ever given in a dealership. He not only made the purchase relaxed but made me the driver the whole time.
