Never again unless you like being laughed at Horrible, first Derrick is the one who sold me my car in February the 28th. I told him all of my concerns the tires being loud when driving, the sulfur smell, the oil smell. he laughed and said how do you know so much about cars. I told him I grew up around cars. He said all will be taken care of when I pick it up the following week march 4th, 2014. Everything seemed fine until I took my car to get inspected in Nh and the rear brakes, front right ball joint and tires were dry rotting. I called Herb Connolly Hyundai and brought the car back in (an hour drive) they told me it passes MA inspections and they can not help me. I obviously had to pay my garage a couple hundred dollars to fix so it to could pass. Last week I brought my car into a Firestone for tires. The came back with a list of problems Head gasket leaking on both sides, shocks and struts are bad and the tires have high and low points of wear because of the shocks. I than brought it straight to Subaru, they told me the same and read over the warranty telling me this warranty will only cover my waterpump if it goes. This does not happen within 5 months of owning a 10 year old car that passes safety, it takes longer for these things to happen. Also mentioning these, I called Herb Connolly Hyundai today (7/28/14) explained it all to them. Doug Connoly told me these things happen and the car was passable when it came through. He proceeded to tell me than these things happen and I could come in and have it fixed, I would have to pay for it though. My recommendation take the car to your mechanic and have it fully checked, that was my first mistake. Second was thinking a company that prides itself to be a family business would help its customers out and work with them. All I got was laughed at. More

AWESOME EXPERIENCE!! My wife and I were looking for a used car, upon arrival at Herb Connolly (Framingham) we were greeted by Peter Franklin. Peter's introduced himself and right from the start was very polite, professional and did not apply the pressure squeeze at all during our discussions. As a matter of fact, Peter took the time to listen to our situation and at by the end of our time there had explained to us about leasing rather than buying based on our situation and we ended up making a deal for a brand new Hyundai Sonata. This was outstanding and we ended up paying less than we would if we went with purchasing a used vehicle. Well let me tell you that, that was just the beginning of our experience. Once in the showroom Peter moved forward with going through the paper work and then introduced us to one of the brothers Connolly (Doug) who was just as professional as Peter. Doug was able to help us reduce our monthly payments to suit are needs even better. After that was complete Doug introduced us to Moe (forget Moe's last name) the finance rep and Moe was just as pleasant has the rest of the Herb Connolly team. In all of the deliberations we felt that there was no stress or confusion at any time. These fine folks had their act together from the start all the way through the process and made my wife and I feel very comfortable and at ease! I went in Saturday (April 26) on a mission for one car and one color. It was sitting on the show room floor! I met Wens and told him I wanted that car, I didn't need to see any other. I drove it off the show room floor a few hours later!! Wens , Moe and the rest of the finance team worked with me to get me in the Genesis Coupe and keeping my payments are a reasonable price. This is my 2nd Hyundai , my first was a brand new 2006 Sonata, that what is still in mint cond condition when I traded it (FOR A GREAT PRICE). I love that I am in a nice little sport car, it has a lot of lick and absolutely the best color, all the bells and whistles !! Wens spent a great deal of time showing me all of today's new technology in the car, I was not rushed at all. You simply cannot beat the warranty and service !!!! Over the past year or so I have returned for all my scheduled services on my 2012 Hyundai Sonata Hybrid and Ashley and Wilmar in service and they always take great care of me. When the time came to add a second Hyundai to my family, I obviously contacted Peter immediately. As expected, he jumped through hoops and made the sales process easy and painless. I am now the owner of both a 2012 Hyundai Sonata Hybrid and a 2013 Hyundai Elantra Limited. Peter Franklin truly makes the car buying experience a joy. Lied about advertisement I found a car on Craigslist and my wife went to see the car and buy it if she liked it. The car was listed for $19,495. After she drove it they told I found a car on Craigslist and my wife went to see the car and buy it if she liked it. The car was listed for $19,495. After she drove it they told her it was $20,880. She didn’t buy it. I went there the next morning with a copy of the listing to find out what was going on. I met with Mr. Easton Porter, the used car sales manager and he informed me that it was a mistake Craigslist made and that they had taken the wrong information off their feed. It sounded plausible enough. He was vehement and told me since it was Craigslist mistake and not theirs they couldn’t be responsible for it. He further stated that if Craigslist kept on making mistakes like that Herb Connolly would have to stop using Craigslist, so I went ahead and purchased the car. I work with a lot of people and upon telling them what happened they all said it was the dealer’s mistake and that there is no feed to Craigslist. I went to speak to the GM and told him I was unhappy with the way I was treated there and what I was told about Craigslist. In fairness he was very nice. He informed me that they had hired a company to enter the information to Craigslist but that company became too expensive so they hired another company and it was their mistake. I was either lied to or misled by the used car manager and in fact it was Herb Connolly Hyundai’s mistake or more likely their contractor’s mistake. Therefore, Herb Connolly Hyundai should have taken responsibility for it and that the price of the car was indeed misrepresented. When we did the financing they told us about extending the warranty and my wife agreed to pay more for that. I specifically asked what a certain figure on the paperwork was for and it was nicely explained to me that it was Gap insurance and they “had just broken it out but that it was included in the package price. They figured out the monthly payments and as far as we knew everything was fine and we just had to pick up the car the next day after they took care of things with the Registry (DMV). When we went to pick up the car they had charged us again for the Gap insurance which was supposed to have been included. I knew that was not possible and my wife sat down with the Finance Manager and my wife figured out that they were charging us an additional $500 approx. for the Gap insurance and that it was not included in the package contrary to what I had been told. I refused to take the car and we left. After a lot of arguing and being told that they had a signed binding contract and that the Finance Manager didn’t need to speak to the person that told me it was included and that I should have thoroughly read the contract and done the entire math with a calculator they did eventually absorb the difference. From the General Manager’s perspective they did the right thing for us in this case. From my perspective it never should have happened and they misrepresented what they were selling again, they wasted my time and all I did get was the extended warranty that they had represented I would get. I would never recommend this dealer! More
