I am happy with my car, but the purchasing process was not ideal. I went way out of my way to visit this dealership (90 miles one way) because they were the only dealership that had a Hyundai Ioniq 5 for not ideal. I went way out of my way to visit this dealership (90 miles one way) because they were the only dealership that had a Hyundai Ioniq 5 for me to test drive. The car ended up being much more expensive than the price that was listed on their website, so I ended up not deciding to buy the Ioniq 5. I worked with Peter who was very helpful to me the moment I arrived at the dealership. He was not pushy and listened to my needs and what I was looking for in a car. At my second visit here after my new car arrived, i came back to sign paperwork. the finance manager was very pushy and rude when I said I didn’t want the dealership warranty. He told me that my car will have NO warranty if I decline this (not true) and that I didn’t have time to think about it or decide later. He would not take no for an answer, and it made the whole experience very uncomfortable and unprofessional. A week later when my brand new car was delivered to me it had a dent and scratch on the fender before I even got the keys. I emailed Doug Connolly, who said I would have to drive back there to have it fixed. I asked if I could have it repaired at a local dealership since Herb Connolly is over an hour and a half away from where I live. He said that was fine and that Herb Connolly would take care of repair costs. I got a quote from a local dealership and sent it back to the Doug. When I sent him the estimate I got from the repair shop, he said it seemed too expensive and I would have to bring it back to Herb Connolly for them to look at it. I am not responsible for the damage, and quite frankly it should have been noticed and fixed before the car was even delivered to me.. I shouldn’t have to go through all this hassle to get it resolved. I am not happy with my overall experience More
